Their first musical offering was a cover version of Earth Wind & Fire classic "In The Stone" , followed by Michael Jackson's "Get On The Floor" then 'Only So Much Oil In The Ground' by Tower Of Power.
Their version of What Cha Gonna Do For Me received radio play all over the world and peaked at #4 in the UK Soul Breakers chart.

It was a FB post by Chaka that steered me your way for "In The Stone" (I'll add my thoughts on your epic work on that later). To hear this Chaka classic again after many years gave me some great flashbacks and even some chills. Her R&B is fabulous, but it's her Jazz that hooked me long ago, and still does. In this song, the blend of the two is virtually spellbinding.

Ok, I'm hooked! Heard Take a Stab on Solar Radio in the UK and now I'm lost in this sublime group of supremely talented musicians! My Brother immediately knew who Melvin was as my Bro's a walking talking Musical encyclopaedia! Moves me to know that the music we both love is being kept alive!
