I've seen facebook friends with 250-300 friends get 100 likes on a post, and I've seen facebook friends with 5k friends get 0. It's all about circumstance. People naturally avert the slightest sight of an Ego, for starters. So if you can be cool headed and put thought into what you're posting, you're off to a good start
Also there's another thing society is afraid of admitting, and that's forgiving the people who have damaged their reputation in their respective field or have burned bridges. You have to go out of your way to dig into the dark and make yourself uncomfortable to get friends back that were crucial veins to your network

I used to get 60 to 100 likes for my art. Now I can barely get 15 to 20. I have over 4200 friends. So I don't know what's going on.
