It was a great fight. Mungia looked huge, in the first rounds i thought we were gonna see the Bivol fight all over again. After Canelo loaded the data from the first rounds he started showing that he is the top dog and the experienced fighter. His chin is insane, he took many punches that would KO others, I think his headmovement is gone and he is aging a bit, but the stamina, power, timing etc. was insane! What a great fighter! Respect to Mungia, he is young he will come back and become a great himself!

The only issues I ever had with Canelo as his fan is, he doesn't throw enough an he fights guys that are two damn big. But damn he was throwing non stop against Munguia. If you think about it Munguia is the perfect fight before fighting Benavidez. Munguia like Benavidez are big guys that come forward an throw non stop. It's was better preparation than any sparring you could get. Shout out to Munguia he tried to get the win all night no matter how good Canelo was.

The only issues I ever had with Canelo as his fan is, he doesn't throw enough an he fights guys that are two damn big. But damn he was throwing non stop against Munguia. If you think about it Munguia is the perfect fight before fighting Benavidez. Munguia like Benavidez are big guys that come forward an throw non stop. It's was better preparation than any sparring you could get. Shout out to Munguia he tried to get the win all night no matter how good Canelo was.

Although I don't like this whole attack on Canelo over who people think he should fight, I'd still like to see DB vs Canelo. Canelo isn't afraid of losing, and neither are Canelo fans. Canelo wouldn't have fought Bivol if that were true. The glass is already broken; the great fighters come back after losses. What people don't realize is that the face of boxing isn't necessarily someone who doesn't lose. Canelo is just fun to watch. As far as cherry picking is concerned, I'd say yeah, Canelo's guilty of cherrypicking. But so was Floyd, and so are most modern fighters. Denying that is the hypocrisy I hate. Get over the fact that Canelo is delaying fighting DB. Clearly Canelo will fight DB in time and for the right money; and the odds for DB will improve as Canelo ages, so relax.
