I was on what was supposed to be the last Hemel Service. Was incredibly frustrating and almost ironic that trouble arose but with the nature of what happened it is what it is.

Seeing southern rail trains in NW London and Hertfordshire was really strange to me before

May I ask why are they suddenly getting rid of these services now? they aren't too old. Is there a reason?

Clogs up paths on the WCML, plus they're barely used anyways

I wish they’d bring back the East Croydon Milton Keynes service

I used to be able to get a train from Gatwick to Watford.

I think a lot of people do. Or better still, how about a Brighton - Milton Keynes service (or even Brighton - Rugby again, or Birmingham?), especially as Brighton now has no regular service to Clapham Junction (except on Sundays), mainly Gatwick Express services, which don't call there. (Brighton - East Croydon is covered regularly by Thameslink)

They've cut the peak hour only extensions to Hemel Hempstead altogether, leaving just the hourly services from Watford Junction to Croydon.
