Ok, so I made these and had the biggest taste buds explosion I've had all year!!! These things are soooo amazingly delicious that I'm definitely going to make some to include in our hors d'oeurves before Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Man, you outdid yourself with these!!!!
It has to taste good, after all it consists mainly of fat and sugar. This appeals to the monkey brain in humans "sweet and fatty = keep eating because it's high in energy". If you want something healthier but still irresistible, replace the cheese in the meatball with toasted wheat bread and a few drops of olive oil. When it comes to bacon, make sure it is as lean as possible. And always make the sauce yourself and avoid sugar (or if you absolutely want to use sugar because of the caramelization, you should only use pure, brown, cane sugar. Corn syrup, which is found in almost all ready-made BBQ sauces, is an absolute fattener!!!)

You get an A+ for presentation! It has to taste good too. That would be Keto friendly too, unless you made some onion gravy with the centers of the onions and some Yorkshire puddings to go with it. That would go really well with that. Thanks for the ideas and recipe!

Looked amazing but it also looked like a TON of work. This looks a lot easier and I love the fact that one good-sized onion goes a long way. Putting these on my to-do list for sure. Great cook! However, since I have never done it before I can see that first step of cutting and peeling the outer onion part a trial and error portion for me, where I might break apart the onion. I'll probably buy a few extra onions one day just for practice before I commit to actually making them.

Not only are you an amazing cook you speak better English than us Brits!! Recommend you look at some of Marcus's recipes. All the best .😊
