Thank you so much for taking of your time to do this series in sharing all of the supplies you use. You broke everything down in groups, showed the swatches, colored examples, showed all the products, told us where we could buy them and left the links. Just so kind. I so appreciate it. I love coloring and so does my 12 year old granddaughter. I bought her a set of Prisma colored pencils and she only colors in Adult color books. She actually colors beautifully. She has OCD & a severe secondary anxiety disorder and it relaxes her. Any kind of art relaxes her. However, we had no idea that coloring and embellishing your page even existed until we started watching RUclips videos. It's so amazing how beautiful the pages look. Your pages are gorgeous. Thank you so much. 😊❤❤❤
Hey K I just want to tell you how much I appreciate both this and the background series you did. I tried to watch them all quite a few months ago when I was just starting out but was overwhelmed, now a year later in I rewatched all of them and they have helped me so much! Thank you!
Aww that’s so sweet and kind of you to take the time and effort to write a lovely message, which made me smile. Thank you and you are very welcome! Happy colouring x
Aw thanks so much, I really appreciate your comment. I hope to release the last video in the embellishments series this week and then it will be complete. Thanks for your encouragement!
Greetings K! Please ignore my comments wherein I asked you which of the glitter products by Deco Arts I was meant to get. I went back and re-watched the embellishment videos and you were very clear as to the products so my questions were answered. The first time I watched those videos, I had like a million interruptions, I'm so sorry to have troubled you about something you were completely clear about. I did order those detail brushes and eagerly await them! thank you so very much. I remain a happy subscriber! : )
That’s no problem at all Deb. Thanks so much for your support and don’t hesitate to ask questions, I will always try my best to help whenever I can. I am so pleased you are finding my videos useful, it is so encouraging and really makes my day. Happy colouring and take care!
Yes I'm not new to watercolor, but im new to watercoloring in coloring books as I needed to practice more by layering and shading and tonal value mind of art channel and dollar diva suggested that you could practice on certain coloring books and I must say I'm so amazed by colorist artists with their color ideas...just color me wowed. ....I have two sets of coliro and now theres a few pans I put on my big win lottery art bucket list lolol...I do also already have some decor metallic paints as I started out freestyle mandalas about 4yrs ago so yeah for me altho I did see a few blues I'd like and glaxazy glitter..omgoddess one can never have enough glitter...lol do you seal your pgs with anything as I have doland wax and wonder if that would work so glitter wont fall off as it ages...mikelle art mom expanding techniques thru other artist ..mant art blessing for your art today...
Thanks so much Micheline - I’m hoping to do a series on backgrounds in the near future, so keep a look out for that! Thanks for subbing, it means a lot.
Thank you for this video. I have all the Kuretake, both regular and the ones with extra metallic sparkle (Starry, Gem, and Pearl) I love them all but from what I can see from your swatches the Coliro looks more opaque and makes me want to get it as well though I have tons of metallic watercolors, but now I want the Magical Creatures from Coliro
You will really enjoy them, they are lovely. Have fun! Remember to leave a few drops of paint first on the pans to soak up for a couple of minutes, then mix with brush and use to get a thick rich colour.
I also have a metallic / pearlescent / mica watercolor collection. May I ask you about the brush you used for your demonstration? It has a short black handle. Thanks, K
I got a set of the fine brushes from Amazon - www.amazon.co.uk/Triangular-Miniature-Detailing-Watercolour-Miniatures/dp/B074Z7SX2S/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=Fine+paint+brushes&qid=1617890730&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A3NQAIFS0O8Q48&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExV05WN1IyOU9ZRFIwJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzU1NjY2MUExME5QTTUxVEc4ViZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjEwMzA0MVA1SloxTE9TSE43NCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= Thanks for watching!
Do you have all the caliro paints or are there more? I have the large set of Arteza metallic acrylic paints and they are fabulous. By the way I love long videos and I could watch you all day.

Hi, I use a range of different papers but mostly I use mixed media A4 paper for example Frisk Mix Media pad 250gsm from Amazon. I also use a medium surface cartridge pad from Windsor and Newton 220gsm. My printer is a Brother Ink jet printer MFC-J415W. Hope that helps and thanks very much for watching, take care!
Hi Deb, thanks so much for watching and for your question. I got my fine brushes from Amazon, the finest ones I use are a 5/0 and 3/0. I would try to apply with PVA glue initially and then try matte gel medium - I don’t have gold leaf because it looks far too messy to work with for me!

Hi, I don’t usually seal my pages unless I use pan pastel or any sort of pastels. Thanks for watching!
Loving every episode. I’ll be spending way too much 😂
I know what you mean, I need to curb my spending!
New subscriber! Please show us how you apply all these goodies. I am dying for you to show us HOW you come about your gorgeous backgrounds.

Thank you for sharing! Really enjoyed your video and I may or may not have just ordered some glitter deco paint now 😂💓
The galaxy glitter is gorgeous on top of matte acrylic paint, I’m after more! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks so much for watching. The Coliro’s are lovely and I would say the Magical creatures set is my favourite. Have a lovely holiday / Christmas.
I've bought my first Pearlcolor palette (the Gold & Silver you suggested) Wish me luck x

Wondering where to buy the tiny detail brushes? I mostly have the water brushes and most of those are not fine. If you can help, many thanks!

I just received a pot of gold and a pot of gold leaf how do I apply this stuff?
I would try to apply with PVA glue initially and then try matte gel medium - I don’t have gold leaf because it looks far too messy to work with for me!
Not boring at all thanks a little hard to hear
Thanks very much Janie. Sorry the sound wasn’t great but hopefully it’s sorted now in the later videos.
