Haha yep! Same as the weekend warriors and school holiday peeps (like we used to be) It’s all good - all part of full time travel. It’s so busy on the roads now 🥴🤣
Great Vlog guys - it is great you guy’s are loving life. Live life / love life and don’t worry about the knockers of your lifestyle, what you are doing is great .
Loved this episode guys.. one of the funniest.. the dog cracks me up so much to, love all the banta that’s what makes your episodes even more fun to watch..
Great vid as usual guys. Loving the photos you're getting with the new camera too. Just wondering if you might need a slightly wider angle lens so you can get focus on the vids and not hold it so far away? Could be worth a try.
Thanks 🙏🏼 Yeah we have thought about getting a wider lens for vlogging but didn’t want to be changing them out all the time for different shots. We made the decision to stick with the happy medium 24-70.
What did I just hear...? Cool people shoot CANON or SONY...? I seem to recall a conversation with someone and having the CANON NIKON talk....congrats guys.
Congratulations for the new camera, it was a great amazing episode and you guys did a great job with the new camera . Now I got it who was behind that leather mask from the movie Texas chainsaw massacre it was Chris 😂😂😂. Any way happy Sunday guys ❤️
ruclips.net/video/EtJ9Ep1VW70/видео.html That's interesting. The recommended height for my van is 960mm from ground to guard (no guages). So when I look at Campedia's van, it looks low in a temporal comparison. I lower my van as much as possible when camped-up to create a gentle step-up and down. But then have to remember to raise the van to ride height.
With the Cruisemaster gear we measure from the 2 bolts either end of the limiting strap - this measurement is set by Cruisemaster for the optimal ride height. Greg’s van looks lower because of the flat floor and no wheel arch. 👍🏼
Great video , but FYI....Don gara, in Westralian lingo is pronounced....Don gra, second "a" is somewhat silent........like the "pee" in "bath"....someone had an extra "a" and just threw it in there......Happy trails...
Not sure if it’s your camera or our internet but close up video and when you move the camera is very sketchy. When camera us stable it’s great seems it struggles to focus on the move
You guys are so disappointing like trip in a van , u make a comment about places being full of grey nomads and maybe having trouble getting in to camp sites when most of us that support your channel r grey nomads who have worked 48 yrs to get where u r and not have the amazing opportunity to do it in our 30s and 40s like you guys and make a living from it too and have earned the right to have 11 yrs or so to enjoy the rest of their lives doing what your generation has had the ability to do . We r the ones supporting the industry by buying the products and keeping the industry going as well as yourselves in this instance . If not for the nomads the industry would not be what it is . I think you should have thought about your comment before you said it . Very disappointing guys
Yer I guess I'm watching their channel supporting them to and the others also its got to be give and take every where and respect all , one group is out making money the other is out enjoying retirement
Thanks so much for the compliment of 30’s and 40’s! Guess we look younger than we are 😁🙏🏼 We apologise if you’re disappointed with what we’ve said - but it’s what everyone says - all the time 🤷🏼♀️ It’s just the way it is. And it’s definitely not just grey nomads supporting this industry anymore. We are seeing so many young couples and families spending up on paid campgrounds, experiences that cost money and eating out. Everyone is entitled to enjoy every place regardless of age. We love and chat to so many ‘grey nomads’ on the road. Sorry you’ve taken offence - but there’s no need to. And please don’t ever compare us to TIAV. We are nothing like them and never will be 👍🏼
We spend so much time chatting with the grey nomads we meet on the road. We love them - and are not far off being part of that group ourselves. What we’ve said (I’m not sure actually as I don’t even know what the comment is she is referring to 🤔) but if it’s about grey nomads is probably just what everyone says who travels and owns/manages caravan parks. We wouldn’t have meant anything bad by it - as I said, we’ve met and chatted to many and will continue to do so. RUclips - not so sure about. We get bagged out and picked on for almost everything we do. Gets a bit frustrating at times. 🥺
@@AussieDestinationsUnknown Sounds like some people are a bit jealous that the younger generation are getting out and about at a younger age and of what they couldn't do in their life. You are exactly right, grey nomads are NOT the 'keeper of industry' in my case a middle aged traveller wants to explore our great land whilst we are fit, agile and healthy. Old age is not a given. You help us immensely with your insight of camping destinations, people also don't realise the 'work' it takes to film, edit, produce & maintain the RUclips channel & vids we all love. If you can make money from a job you enjoy, in my book it is the greatest achievement one can achieve. You're sensational guys, could say a heap more, but won't. Keep on being legends and bugger the naysayers. 💪❤️. Stay Happy 👌😊🫂
Thanks so much Mark. In all honesty, we don’t like RUclips much at all and have come close to quitting many times. People are rude and put us down every chance they get while we work hard every single day to make content for them to watch for free. Effort vs reward is just not there. It’s sad but true. For now we will keep creating as it’s what we love - but to do something that people make comments like this about and we don’t make much money on - we do have to ask if it’s really worth it. We sacrifice every second of our ‘down time’ for RUclips. Thanks so much for your support and letting us know. It’s comments like yours that actually keep us going 🙏🏼
Hot tip…less of you guys talking to the camera & more showcasing the places you visit (rather than yourselves) would make for way more enjoyable viewing imo
Wow. That’s a bit rude. People have asked for more info and more of us talking. So … that’s what we’ve done. What’s the point in showing a spot if you don’t know anything about it? How does it help people plan trips if we don’t say how we’ve planned ours? How do people learn how to do anything without it being talked about? And - this is our channel - our vids and we share what we want, how we think people will benefit from it the most. 🤙🏼
@@christinawhite4568 agreed mate,, this clown by looking at his name i.d has only been active for less than a day,, so most likely a coward behind a keyboard. I love the banter that these guys have, it's great to have a laugh with them, whilst they show us the sights 👌
considering the savage beast of a rig you guys have and it’s relative uniqueness do you get a lot of attention unwanted or otherwise and how do you deal with it? or is that part of the business model?
We have always had vehicles that have been unique and different - Chris been sign writing and doing up vehicles since well before we met 13 years ago. When we met he had a crazy Chrysler 300c wagon and an insane black Hilux. He’s made vehicles look good and I’ve made people look good (modeling, health and fitness). It’s just how we roll. We were the first to put ‘stickers’ on our (back then) Hilux and Caravan. Since then everyone has started doing it. We love it 😁 This truck is just a tool that helps us get where we need to go. It looks like it does because that’s our thing 😁👍🏼
some funny stuff here OMG
😂🤣
Video quality is outstanding!
Thank you! In this episode we hadn’t figured anything out yet 🥴
What a beautiful area, even though there was sharks😊
