"Unboxing" the Animated "Super Friends" Complete Collection

- It's a rare occasion when Summer gets to "unbox" something she's waited for for so long: "Super Friends: The Complete Collection" DVD box set.
This just came out, it's all 93 episodes from the different runs of the series from 1973-1983, including several "lost" episodes.

I plan to buy and have delivered this to a friend's house, next week, so she can watch and share with her grandson. She was a kid, when The Superfriends ran on ABC Saturday mornings. I believe she watched the show on WOWK-TV out of Charleston/Huntington WV, because she was living in Portsmouth OH, back during the late 1970's/early 1980's!!!

As far as I've seen, only the 1979, 1980 and 1981 seasons have Spanish audio, but none of them have Spanish subtitles.

Ma'am, i wished you had waited until the individual releases came out. That's terrible how they popped out.
This is a WB archival release, there won't be any upcoming individual "season" sets for Super Friends. They would not be cost effective for Warner Bros lol.
Just like for the original Batman and Wonder Woman live action shows, the animated sets for Batman Beyond, Adventures of Superman, Adventures of Batman, Young Justice, and a bunch of others, the Complete Set box sets are the best we're going to get.
And yeah, having discs come loose during shipping and slide out when opened is annoying. The same thing happened with the new complete sets for Babylon 5 and Manifest (although both of those shows had previously come out in smaller season sets).
@@Sliceofscifi Pick up some d.v.d cases so the discs will not be scratched.
IMHO, as long as the pack isn't being tossed around by any mail handling services, things should be fine LOL
Since it's going to sit safely on a shelf from now on, the discs should be safe and secure.
