Compared to the Robot 980🌼 For just a hundred more I found that it was well worth the money. The suction was just as good as the regular vacuum. The navigation was different at first but it doesn't crash into anything
All of the features you describe as unique have actually been available on the Neatbot vacuums for some time: full width beater brush, mapping of rooms, return for charging and resume as necessary. The difference in camera+mapping is that the Neatbot uses infrared and a laser so it can vacuum in the dark. Neatbot also has available magnetic strips to mark areas not to vacuum. A more helpful review would have been to compare actual cleaning performance and bin-emptying/filter-cleaning requirements.

Sorry, I already have an iRobot Roomba that works just beautifully. The only feature that would make me switch robot vacuums would be a charging station that also sucks the dirt from the vacume into a large reservoir so that I don't have to clean it out everyday.

I've never understood these robot vacuums. If you don't have pets in the house, then you won't really need to vacuum often, and you can get done in 5 minutes what these things take hours to do. I get that it's "one less thing to worry about", but is it? You still have to empty the robot vacuum, and clean/replace the filter. It's just going to cost more =)

The carpet in this video is actually 75 ounce Frieze which is essentially a modern shag carpet. According to my installers, it's the thickest carpet they've ever seen and the vacuum was able to handle it fairly well. I still prefer to use it on hard floors in the foyer and kitchen.
Ive owned many generations of the Irobot Rumba, the newest being 880, and for sure Roomba is better than this thing, for starters the price. But that is kind of what you would expect as one company is on their 8th generation and one is brand new.

They are so use to vacuums, they aren't phased at all by them. It's funny since most dogs I've had before were always scared by them.
