I love mine. I actually cut 1.2 inches of the foam in the rear of my tray and fly with 4500mah packs pushed back. The factory recommended low rates are my high and my low's are 70% of that. It flies like a champ and handles knife edges and inverted flight nicely. Great video!
So here is my tip for cg on this plane. Kinda similar to the Freewing F-86. With battery in the plane, tip it on its tail. It should hold there. Barely touch throttle and it shohld slowly come back to its nose. The elevator should have about 2mm down with the proper cg. Be careful with elevator throw and do a couple flights to get it right. You want to be able to pull full up at low speeds and have no stalling.... once you set it up like that be prepared to be amazed!!! My videos are sometimes Over 9 mins flying time!!!
lovely flying sir...mikes camera work is Stanley Kubrick inspired...I like the coffee reference but a cool watch with veins showing will get you one more minute of flying time...peace out holmes
I am leaning toward this jet due to a very reasonable price and still accompanied with fantastic power and vertical. Will a Roaring Top 6s 5000mah 70C pack work without affecting the weight and cg too much?
Mike Kennedy probably yours. Mike is still working on the rx video and setup. So when he’s done we will either swap rx and I’ll fly it again or we can Maiden the other one with the rx and pack that one up. Whatever’s best for you. Nice plane man!
Dude I like the metal landing gear! I think Freewing should pay attention and install metal landing gear (like the 70mm F-16), on all EDFs'. Does this jet have a more sport feel, compared to E-Fite's Viper?
So , other than the slats & air brake and maybe the landing gear set up. What if any would be the difference between this and the Freewing T45 Goshawk???
Mike Remvidas it’s lighter, it’s 80mm instead of 90, it has an inrunner edf and Flight times appear to be phenomenal. Other than that they’re both hawks that fly very well.
Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike RC Hi pilot Ryan I like this bae hawk and I want to buy it, but I like more the T-45, which I do not buy because I think it is more difficult to fly, but based on your comment I would understand that the level of difficulty to fly them is similar. Which one would you recommend to buy?
Nice jet, seems like its always windy in INDY, Is Mike a full scale pilot? If so whats does he fly? I'm a license pilot, with IFR, glider, and taildragger add ons, I own and fly a Cessna 172 and 2014 Mooney M20 J ...........
This is one of the most efficient EDF/airframe combo in the market today! Check my 8 minutes flight on a 4000mah battery: ruclips.net/video/02juiOt81PY/видео.html
What a great flyer even in nasty conditions. Stay tuned we cant wait to get this one out again!
A tip : watch movies on KaldroStream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Zev Sawyer definitely, have been watching on Kaldrostream for months myself :D
@Zev Sawyer Yea, have been watching on kaldrostream for years myself :D
Well done as always. Hard not to like a red paint job.
Wow- Nice job with the Hawk in that crosswind
It was really sporty!

Regatoni5 great to hear, thanks!
Nice looking plane, great choice!
That wind was crazy....
Mine Just arrived ! Doing a full repaint! :-)
jason Rigney fantastic
what paint scheme are you doing?
You guys make me look forward to EDF planes next year. I think I am ready.
I would suggest the Rebel V2 as a starter jet.
Great looking jet, great flying!
Nice flight time!
Nice!! Love the BAE
Nice job bro!

Thanks Gooniac! that was a very cool way to check the CG on the Saber for sure " EAZY PEZY"
@pilotRyanMedia Does anyone know what the take-off and landing stand is?
for the flaps can't find it in the manual
Awesome video
How is this compared to the Yak-130? Any flight characteristics that are noticeably different?
BAe Hawk feels more honest as a flyer. The short coupling of the yak definitely sets it apart
I like it

"Sorry Mike I don't want to be that high"....really my friend
I finally caved and bought a NIB from Mafia.
Mmmm you know the boozers love that slow motion ❤️
Great video do you prefer the futura or bae hawk?
Bae
Are you getting one? If so please consider using my links in the video descriptions

Yes that will work
Sorry if I missed it but what pack size/weight?
This will take a 4000-6000 but I think 4000-5000 is the sweet spot.
Ryan are they much difference in flying the hawk compared to the Avanti s?
That’s a tough one. Both are great flyers. The Avanti is going to take the prize on aerobatics not by much but it does.
Hey man what if you have only flown prop warbirds from eflite and the hangar 9 corsair?
Steve Coggins Avanti
which one was that Mine or the other one?

Great, no hurry. Love watching the shows

Thomas Usowski Hawk are one of the most sporty military jets out there
