This scene, Leon's pep talk to Saint when he was locked up, the diner scene with Uncle Jerome, and the last scene in the finally had to be some of the best dialogue in the whole series
This is some real High Caliber acting. I'm so grateful that John Singleton really captured the internal and external conflicts that take place in the dope game in South Central LA. F.Y.I, WC of Westside Connection was a consultant for the dialogue and the mannerisms of the characters.
My favorite part is when they get in the car and Franklin says "you gonna smoke that shit to gospel music?" And Leon says "You in a glass house. At least I have a spiritual practice" haha
When you can hold your composure during a sticky situation these two just dealt with and drove for a few mins knowing your steaming hot. Shows true character on his mind frame and how to handle a situation in any circumstances.
