that doesn’t work when the queer movement is basically luring in straight people. And when the new cool is to be queer.. many straight (women) who want to fit in might say they’re lesbian
Honestly how I figured out i was bi was because I kept on thinking I’m straight, I’m gay, I’m straight etc. A bigger internal struggle I think than what gay people go through. Not that I’d no of course bc I’m not gay. But she was DEFINITELY bi
Its crazy how most of her list of how to tell you are a lesbian is about dudes. Lesbianism has nothing to do with men regardless of what porn tells you.
I was always under this crazy impression that lesbianism was when girls were attracted sexually to girls. Then the 2000's showed up and sh!t turned upside down.
Well shouldn't it be about men. Or the lack thereof. It should be the lack of attraction to men. That's what a lesbian is. They have attraction to women no attraction to men. So it does have to do with men not being involved in their sexuality.
I wish for lesbians so strongly that men can be completely removed from lesbianism! No longer brought up in conversations, no men on dating apps, no men interfering in lesbian relationships....just stop! When will society leave lesbians alone?!
I’m not sure, my boyfriend is the male version of her, he’s masculine and doesn’t look gay at all, I even make fun of him and i say he’s straight and he doesn’t flinch, lol, he turned gay for deep loneliness, kinda like the girl in the video that’s just probably scared of men, my boyfriend is insecure towards women like actually insecure, and also traumatized or betrayed by women since he was a child, but all his crushes are women and fantasies, I used to think he was using me because of this, because why would he love me if he’s really not gay?? Well he loves me for who I am, and I think that’s more cute right ? Like he sees my soul, and he loves my soul, so that’s cool, and a lot of gay men these days are like that , straight men who became gay for various reasons but they obviously still act and look straight, im gay since I can remember and you can tell I am, not that I’m flamboyant but I’m not masculine lol at least not when I’m not being discreet
I've seen that video before and thought she's either confused or she's just in denial of her obvious bisexuality. I've had a phase where I did question if I'm actually lesbian because I'm way more into women than men but then I just accepted that I like both and moved on with my life.
She does give bi vibes 😂 I am attracted to men romantically and sexually, but to women only sexually. At least, that is my experience so far 🙃 Up until my 30s I was very anxious about it, but saying "I'm straight" never felt right to me. And how can I say I'm straight when I did sleep with women and still have that desire? So today I just say I'm bi because it's easier than having to explain everything...Anyways, love you two!
You can be Gay/lesbian and think a person of the opposite sex is good looking but not want to sleep with them. Or same with same sex. I can look at a woman be like dang she’s gorgeous but thats it. So silly lol
I can see how a young lesbian figuring herself out could have some of these experiences. Coming to terms with your sexuality isn't always easy, especially when you live in a world that expects you to be attracted to men.
Basically, everything she had on her list is what a typical pre-pubescent or pubescent kid thinks/feels at that age. I remember all of my friends and I would cringe if we saw anyone displaying signs of physical attraction. It didn't matter if it was on TV, in a movie or IRL. Also didn't matter if it was 2 guys or 2 girls or a guy and a girl. The problem today, is that social media is telling young people that those very normal feelings mean that you're LGBT. It's literally not OK to be str8 anymore. 🤷🏼♀️
I will say, number 4, when she says that if you do not have an attraction to those your friends swoon over, I disagree with. To start, I am 100% hetero female. I realized that once I became an adult, although I was a tomboy growing up. When I was a kid, my mom would swoon over people like Downey Jr. and would constantly ask me why I didn't see them as attractive. It's because for me, looks aren't everything. I am more interested in someone's character, what they bring to the table with who they are. The men I swoon over in my youth were people like Mad Eye Moody or Nick Valentine (iykyk) and for those who do not know, those characters are not plentiful in the looks department but have good hearts. So, to say that just because you do not see what society says is an "attractive male" does not make you a lesbian.
I’m so glad someone else said it I have always felt this way I pretended to be attracted to men, I can appreciate a good looking man but I feel the same way about a cute puppy I still don’t understand why women are attracted to men it’s very puzzling, yall crack me up I love your show I look forward to it everyday ❤
To be honest, that video just screams “read the lesbian master doc for the first time” especially with the timing that the video was released (it was going viral on tik tok 3ish years ago) and the fact that most of her points are also written in that. I feel like that doc gaslight a lot of bi women into identifying as lesbian even if they’re literally just bi (I almost fell victim to this until I just accepted that I am unfortunately sometimes attracted to men lol)
There is not even any need to complicate things with signs and all that it is as simple as are you attracted to the male or the female body, both or neither. Don't know then don't worry just let yourself grow and you figure it out eventually.
Harley Quinn married Ivy in the comic books. She became a lesbian because the Joker was so abusive towards her. The relationship between Ivy and Harley is for more healthy than the relationship between the Joker and Harley. Harley is mentally ill. The Joker abused her to the point where she mentally broke. That made Harley obsessed with theJoker. When the Joker faked his own death and randomly showed up again, Harley was finally able to break free from his control.
My fave tv characters as a kid? Jem from Jem and the Holograms. I was OBSESSED with the show. And yes - I made my dolls have sex with each other! 😆😆😆😆😆😆
Harley Quinn was never into women in Batman: The Animated Series. She was only best friends with Poison Ivy. But in today's standards you're automatically gay and are into you're best friend if they're the same sex. 🙄 That's why they made the stupid change. Everyone has friends that are the same sex as them because of the shared experience they have as that sex/gender and that's what people have to realize! I have a lot of straight male friends as a gay man and I'm not into them at all. I just have a common interest of being a male with them.
Pretty sure shes bi with a preference for women, I'm bi as well and am mostly attracted to women this resonates with me as a 15 yr old Ps. The harley quinn is canonically bisexual as well lol and currently in the comics is with poison ivy
Wokeness and mean aside, the FUNNIEST award show moment was Kate McKinnon speaking an introduction for Ellen, remembering watching Ellen as a girl lifting weights in front of the mirror and... Go see it. I cried. 😂
I think she has some *Asexual* in her, she's said it before but just says Lesbian to be under one flag not 2. She does have and live with a girlfriend though and they're soon to be engaged. Not to mention there's COMPHET as well playing a role here 😅
First thing she listed I had problems with when little. Gushed all the time as a wee one when there was a kissing scene or even a flirting scene. I'm a straight man. I think there is an error in this list
"She's probably actually bi". I've been thinking this the entire time! Since you said it, I don't feel bad to post it. And I can usually tell when a women says she's fully non hetero, but is probably bi. Like you said, "she has more of a bi feeling".
Im always reminded of Chang's character in Community going "Who's your same-sex celebrity crush? Everyone has one." (His was Nathan Fillian lmao). It is completely normal for monosexuals to be able to appreciate someone from the gender they arent attracted to but people go way overboard with this and read way too far into it. It seems to hurt lesbians the most. Bi people with preferences for a gender really need to stop muddying the waters. Because implying that lesbians are actually attracted to men in any capacity is seriously messed up.
I think the issue is her saying "attracted to" all these random men. I DO think a lot of young lesbians have a go to male actor they say they like for when other women ask so that they can be part of the group, not stick out. I personally had a go to "celebrity guy crush" as a teen, though I wasnt attracted to him. I wanted to BE like him. Confident, strong, appealing to women, etc. If you you're sexually into women and not men, you're a lesbian. Simple as. 😂
Half this list makes me gay. 😂 I don't really like love scenes in movies just because it's awkward. I know their actors pretending. I also had friends obsessed with Zac Efron and I didn't get it. But it's not because I'm gay it's because I liked older men even then. Once Zac Efron got like 10 years older he's hot now. I would gladly move in with a girl but its because I'm single and don't want to live with a guy who tend to be messier. I'm a "late bloomer" but I was always aware who I liked. Doesn't make me gay. I am very straight and can find woman hot. Like Nina said I can appreciate them like fine art but it doesn't mean I want to touch. And I had crushes on Simba from Lion King! I don't think your cartoon crushes ad a kid mean anything. 😂 And where on this list is "you find woman attractive" that means your a lesbian more than anything.
I know so many girls who did not get interested in men or women until mid high school or after. I know women who didn't even think about it because of their careers then it just happened. Now they're in a relationship wow. I really believe like you said this girl is very confused. Lost little bisexual and a lot of them go through that. But sadly yes like you said a lot of them are naive or they are autistic or a person who wasn't around a lot of people less experience with humanity so I easy targets for manipulation or bad people. There is also a percentage of people who because they are exposed to certain kind of relationship ideas either. On television, movies or people that they know, they think that that's the only way it's got to work when it's like every human experience is different. So there's different ways that people fall in love. We can't be all the same. We can't look for the ticking of the boxes to know that someone likes you. I myself have had trouble in the relationship department not getting a person but thinking am I in love with this person and my love takes a long time to grow. So I'm not affectionate and I don't like kissing in the movies because it looks fake. It looks like they're trying to rip off the other person's face and nail it on the wall. When I've seen real people kissing who are not drunk and doing that sloppy making out it's not bad.
it took until i was 20 to realize i was a lesbian 😭 i was rolling w bisexual but never dated-i thought id eventually like a guy enough to date them LOL
I mean I relate to some of these, that was when I was young and raised in a very oppressive conservative environment. But by the time I was 18 it was very clear what was up. It was physically Very apparent 😏. You know what I mean. I have been out as a lesbian for 15 years btw.
No some women are attracted to feminine people they can honestly be straight bi or lesbian im attracted to femininity but i dont like female body parts im straight she's right. It does mean she's bi. Because it doesn't matter if you like feminine people or not. It's a matter of you like male or female people or both. She just admitted to liking both
I didnt think i was a late bloomer i just didnt think i had much interest in men because emotionally i didnt then at 18 i realized i did but only sexual really. Idk my sexuality has never been very social sometimes it is but even then its usually for the wrong type if its both components etc
I love you guys! Y’all are so cute. I mean I didn’t really think about men or anything. I was just scared because I didn’t want everyone to hate me. I would be interested to know y’all’s thoughts on compulsory heterosexuality?
From my personal experience being a young child who's brain was still developing a lot you might THINK that you're attracted to guys cause that's all you know and you have christian parents who disapprove of that stuff so you might try to gaslight yourself into thinking you're just attracted to feminine dudes. I had a crush on Link from Zelda when I was little for all I knew he was a woman LOL kids can't even define what a female or male is, much like the adults in today's world unfortunately, children are silly they don't know what the hell they actually want also teens have raging hormones they probably think they're attracted to everyone but most of the signs in this video are superficial. I never understood my boy crazy friends I always just chalked it up to maturity not homo LOL but the older I get the more into a crisis I'm getting. "I just wanted a life with someone" is the most relatable thing ever I think I definitely felt that way as a child. "He would be a really 🔥 lesbian" is strangely relatable for some weird, unexplainable reason. I never cared much for PDA in media in general it's all fake anyway but there are some straight/gay couples that I love their love and how cute they are together. I just think they're really cool individuals and want to see them happy together like my fave music artists couples actually for me I got really uncomfortable seeing gay couples kiss but I realized that was either because I felt my parent's judging eyes watching or probably because I felt aroused by it and didn't know that's what it was or I was just turned off by shitty representation.
So why is it when people say that they find lesbian kissing girls you guys say that it's homophobic. But then you say yourself you feel the same way when heterosexuals kiss. Don't you think it could be a part of the sexuality just like it is for you. Like I know for me it isn't homosexuality. Because when two guys kiss I don't feel anything it's just the same as straight people kissing. But when two women kiss I do feel disgusted for a long time especially in my teens I was always told I was homophobic because of it and it was so weird because it's like well if you guys find a man not appealing in that way. Are you hateful to men it's the same thing.
No you could know youre not interested in marrying anyone you could be happier single .... Or just think oh that sounds great but not care? Its not something you search for and half the traditional examples weird me out
As a teenager, you aren’t quite sure if you wanted to BE LIKE the pretty, popular girls or if you wanted BE WITH them. 🫢 Puberty was an excruciatingly confusing time…
We used to say, "If you think you might be, then you are. "
RIGHT!😂😂 I literally just thought that to myself.
that doesn’t work when the queer movement is basically luring in straight people. And when the new cool is to be queer.. many straight (women) who want to fit in might say they’re lesbian
Im straight, and I get uncomfortable seeing sex scenes in movies, but if just a kiss, it's fine
Same. For any type of couple, that is private
I’m a lesbian and I’m the exact same. I hate unnecessary sex scenes but kissing Idc
Definitely needs to rename it to, "How to know if you're Bi."
You two are amazing 👏 rock on❤
Honestly how I figured out i was bi was because I kept on thinking I’m straight, I’m gay, I’m straight etc. A bigger internal struggle I think than what gay people go through. Not that I’d no of course bc I’m not gay. But she was DEFINITELY bi

According to this list Im a lesbian!! What will my husband say?? I agree ladies shes prob bi and very young without many life experiences.
I adore you two. ❤ Your snark and brutal honesty are so welcome in this stupid world.
I've seen that video before and thought she's either confused or she's just in denial of her obvious bisexuality. I've had a phase where I did question if I'm actually lesbian because I'm way more into women than men but then I just accepted that I like both and moved on with my life.
I don’t know I’m a straight dude and I can understand why people were attracted to Zac efferon
She does give bi vibes 😂 I am attracted to men romantically and sexually, but to women only sexually. Wow I guess I'm gay now. I thought I had most of these signs because of my autism but I'm just gay😂😂
Same 😂😂
Omg, this is hilarious. She’s definitely bi not a lesbian. Why would she think that a lesbian is gonna be attracted to any man?
I could do the “how to know you’re a gay guy” version of this:
#1/1: you like guys, not girls
Like or subscribe
You can be Gay/lesbian and think a person of the opposite sex is good looking but not want to sleep with them. Or same with same sex. I can look at a woman be like dang she’s gorgeous but thats it. So silly lol

Most def bi 😂 She seems very immature too. Hopefully she’s matured.
Off topic but I love Jessie's laugh so much 😂❤
If you have to take a test or survey on the Internet to determine if you are gay, you are not gay! 😂😂
I will say, number 4, when she says that if you do not have an attraction to those your friends swoon over, I disagree with. To start, I am 100% hetero female. Let me help. Women are attracted to men for all the same reasons that women are attracted to women. That concludes my tedtalk.
To be honest, that video just screams “read the lesbian master doc for the first time” especially with the timing that the video was released (it was going viral on tik tok 3ish years ago) and the fact that most of her points are also written in that. also I’m pretty sure whoever wrote the lesbian masterdoc actually indentifies as bi now lmao sooooo
