Appiciate you work Mr. Hacopian. I think it would also be a good idea to do these series in Armenian for the Armenian citizens. You have many great messages that more people need to hear.
Spot on, as usual, Eric. Competence is desperately needed in every sphere of our Armenian life - politics, business, governance, public services, you name it. It’s in very short supply for the time being. Equally, what we need is integrity.
Thanks for the insight! So... friend of mine is a Mormon and they have a great system, to donate to their community. Everyone who is part of their community donated 5% of their income. Wouldn’t that be something for us, too? First of all it’s a write off and secondly it’s a systematic way to have a constant financial flow that can be managed in a fund to do good. For education, healthcare, as a micro bank,....
Thanks always for stating facts as they are. I Hope bright and competent people , who also have a lot of money are listening and following a road map that is in front of them.
Great video, Eric. Always a pleasure to listen to your analyses and recommendations. One point though: I don’t think this government is competent to understand what a competent state is, let alone capable of building it.
As usual very good analysis. I really hope that the next Armenian government will reach out and ask you to join the cabinet. People like you, who could analyze and provide realistic advice, are essential for Armenia at this time. Unfortunately at this time, we can see that our government and opposition thinking about money and power rather than the Armenian people and the direction this county/nation is heading. As for Armenian army, I always say: If you want peace, prepare for war. But since 2018 we were preparing for capitulation. Even with the army which we had and the weapons which we used the outcome of the second war could be different if the Army had a different commander in chief.
you have no idea what's in those shot's and you should not be giving medical advise....we now know how dangerous those shots have turned out.. stop believing the big lie.
Thanks Eric, it is always a plaisir to have your insights, always positive and figuring out solutions. I can tell you that we stopped sending money because we do not want to fill the old holigarch's pockets again. there s no political stability now and unless we are sure where the money is going we can not send our money that we earn with hard work. We are waiting to see what will be the issue of the elections and we are ready to work again with decent people and with a new team with ethical concern. May be our rich Armenian could do better of course.
I am surprised hayasdandzinereh have not said you are Sarosakan 😂, they have so much to learn in democracy. They think they know everything but they don’t know shit! Thank you
Interesting to see there is no single note about building a piece with neighbors - no matter what Armenia does on military it wont compete states around it. Economy is the same - there is no such term to build isolated economy! And the armenian billionaires perhaps smart enough to understand it to not waste their investments!
Thank you Eric for your insights. Going forward is the key. Yes we need competence in the government and honesty. But most of all we need to be realistic. Armenia is a small country with a limited economic base. We need peace with our neighbors which means compromise other than basic security. Do not listen to the hardliners who scream and yell on return of our lands in Turkey etc. Be pragmatic and realistic. Only then will Armenia survive and prosper.

At the end of the day Pashinyan was the leader he should be held accountable as well as the Generals

It is difficult to build peace with those who want you dead.
Northern Island managed peace between the warring parties. Not easy, but Armenia must try, otherwise endless problems, dismal future.
