Amazing videos! I just finished timber framing an outdoor shower all by hand tools and seeing you easily and quickly make the Tenon joints etc on the mill is a game changer for me. I have 247 acres in Ontario Canada, Mature White Pine, Red Oak, Maple, Poplar etc, and will be retiring in 2 years and building a house on the property. Your videos are amazing but you make it look so easy and it's not LOL. Thanks for all the great information, can't wait for the next video. Question I used the square rule to make my outdoor shower. Will I be able to accurately square my timbers on the woodland mill enough to use the Mill Rule for construction? Thanks again! Chris Anderson
Thank you for all those complements! You set your mill up like mine and it is that easy! Just takes some practice. We have plenty of tips in our videos of squaring your beams. We get them perfectly square. Equal to or better then purchased beams in most cases. It should be no problem anyway you timber frame style. I have a a large work area and I typically Scribe my frames in Full. Thanks for Watching I Appreciate it! 👍🤠
This type of content is why I even bother with youtube. The variety of actual experiences from individuals posting videos showing things they have actually accomplished is a true treasure trove of reference material.
