Its a middle- term phenomenon due to drastic growth in cities and economy. In 5 to 10 years not only infrastructure will improve but also many of generation which shifted to cities will start to come back after their economic situation improve.
I remember seeing videos of deserted villages in China few years back. As China is making transition from developing country to a developed country, many Chinese fled from villages to cities in search of jobs. Same is happening with India. This creates a massive problem as cities become crowded and villages deserted. The only way to avoid this problem is to provide villages with facilities like electricity, water, gas, wifi, schools, offices and other things like cities irrespective of area. Then villages will not remain villages but a small city with same facilities as metro ones. Only this can avoid migration and unequal distribution of population.
The utmost priority should be employment. Unlike rural villages of Indian Plains, uttarakhand has a very high literacy in Hills >90%. Every second person is graduate. Why would a Graduate live in Hills when there is 0 employment opportunity except govt jobs.

Inspite of serene natural beauty , fresh air and soothing calmness ..
I wish and i am feeling concern for this lively lady who is living all alone there, that there must be someone beside her to take care of her in case of any emergency or illness.
She is so bold n strong lady God Bless her 😚
Hey
This is a true reality of Uttrakhand 😔
We also moved from pauri to delhi but came back to dehradun. The government is so corrupt here, doing nothing for the welfare of pahad, pahadi cuture and pahadi people.
Keep it up...Doing good work...unbiased generalism
Such a sweet and brave lady.

A Big Salute To Dadi
I'm from uttarakhand, we have 24 homes in our village, it is almost abandoned. People there have no sources or choice but to leave their home. No one wants their children to deprive of education/english. Though i was born in city but i feel sad. Even the roads are constructed 8-10 years back. 2-3 hrs. Treck is common to go little market.
How can one manage to live their.
Dev bhoomi doesn't deserve this.
Yr yeh lady ek baar bhi problem bta ker royi nhi...I want to become like her...I want to win myself...how hard it is to live alone in life..but still being so cheerful
The most important reason for migration is High literacy(>90%) in Hills and 0 employment. Every second person in Uttarakhand Hills is a Graduate unlike rural area of up/bihar where people can do blue collar jobs.
Hats off to this incredibly strong woman.
I love her smile...being an uttarakhandi I feel shameful ki itni sunder jagah se playan karwa dete hein parents...but I wanna settle in my hometown
Purest of the souls 😍
She is a really strong woman❤
Her voice is awesome.
Mata ji ki awaaj mein kitna skoon hai yaar ....Still smiling
Smile is unconditional
She's self isolating herself from this cruel world 🙂
She is the luckiest n blessed women on planet earth
Hat off to this lady 🙂
Her smile made me smile
Salute to this lady.
I love my uttarakhand 😘
Yeh maa. ..tuje jhuke salaam. ...
A grand salute to you Aunty G...
I have lived in UK and been to such villages. This is the dad reality, people are moving to cities like Dehradun for work and facilities.
Dil bahut dukta h in baato ko sunke 😭😭😭
Yess, still smiling
Pyari Baidu, what a strong woman, not only physically that she can walk 5 km in that terrain at this age but by values too, it's difficult to find a strong opinion woman at this age.
I am also live in uttarakhand and I like this video
Grandma u rock
Power of smile❤
