Midnapore Medical College | 1st GB Meeting for Formation of Alumni Association | MAA | 27/9/24

MINUTES OF MEETINGS ON 27TH SEPTEMBER AT LT3 MMCH :-
On 27th September Honble MSVP Dr Jayanta Kumar Ram inaugurated the GB meeting. Alumnis from 2004-2017 batch were present and GB meeting was started.
A) Our organization name was set as:- Midnapore Medical College Alumni Association(MAA).
B) Our reunion name was set as RETRO.
C) RETRO will be organized once in a year.
D) Executive Committee was provisionally formed with the dignitaries and also subcommittee was formed.
E) Membership type was set as both Annual and Life Membership as specified previously.
F) Executive committee and all in house attendees was in favor of proposal of Gold Medal/award/scholarship in memoir of their deceased Alumnis.
G) Executive Committee is also in favour of proposal of Medicolegal help and help related Mental Health issues towards Alumnis. A combined LEGAL+SAFETY+ MENTAL HEALTH committee is thereby formed. For womans safety and violence at workplace issues, we need more female representatives to volunteer the committee.
H) MAA office room allocation within College premises is under process and approval of the same will be intimated in group.
I) Logo of our Alumni Association and Reunion creation is under process.
J) Once the committee is formed, Bank Account will be opened . Creation for a dedicated website and social media broadcast was also proposed, which will be supervised by Social Media Broadcast Committee.
K) There is also an Election Committee, who will supervise the Election for formation of Next Reunion Executive Committee. Hopefully from 2nd Reunion, the Election will be started.
L) Board of Trustee will be selected by the Executive Committee after its formation and will consist of 3 members.This board of Trustee will be in charge of all official properties.
M) Office personnel will be appointed preferably by outsourcing.
N) General Audit of all Alumni Association Works will be done once in a year, preferably before the Pre Reunion GB Meeting..
Meeting was followed by Lunch and concluded by 1 minutes silence for the deceased of heinous crime at RGK Medical College..
