    I watched at work twice during lunch, and again while I'm playing my "follow along w/ Zorshix" save! Lol! The tire choice here was amazing! I happen to have done this contract on my regular save, and good lord... If it didn't take some time, and serious effort! 😂🙃😉 Overall a killer episode as usual, but this one had that feeling of getting a ridiculous amount of work done with so much efficiency, it kinda boggles the mind this time! 🤯 Lol! The music selection was really a stunner this time too! I can't tell you enough how much I like the variety of genres, but also the individual tracks are so well done! My better half got here as I started the video and asked if I had started another when the food got here cuz the music was so different! She likes the back half of the soundtrack a lot though too! The intro is amazing! The views compared to earlier at work... Dang dude! I'm stoked for this channel! I have said that you have a 'real knack" for this or somethin weird like that in the past... And it's false. You were made for this stuff when you have the time! I'm a dad too, and I think you are crazy just knowing a tiny bit about the editing process! Lol! Thanks for takin us along, and showing us the way! 💜🤘

      Thank you dedrift, you're too nice to me dude. I have a real hard time gaging these videos, all I see is the mistakes I make and you help keep me motivated to do the next one.
      Speaking of, I can't wait for the next one (I love logging but soo glad it's done). ✌️✨

      @@zorshix It is always hard to get a good feel of what our own work is doing. I'm a pretty regular cat, I'd assume a bit like yerself! So as long as I can comment for the algorithm, and for any type of feedback or motivation... Even better! Lol! I like logging too.... But yeah, we can give that a break for now! Ha! 😉

    For the last delivery I used the Voron Grad, but the drama was it rolled right by the drop off point after cresting the ridge. I had tried coming up a road that was behind the cabin making area with the p16 and stalled out.

      It's a difficult spot to get into. I know the road you're talking about and it's pretty steep.

    hey, i just found your vids a week ago or so, and i'm liking your vids, theyre good to watch in the background while i play sometimes. i just started a new hardmode save and i want to know what underrated vehicles you recommend since you seem very experienced. itll be a good change of pace for me since i always use the big meta ones.

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  7 дней назад +2

      Welcome to the community, glad you're here.
      When I play hardmode I usually use only the free trucks you get in game for the first few regions as this helps me to establish a decent fleet and bank account at the same time. For me it's better to have more trucks than one or two really good ones from a logistics standpoint.
      Having said that sometimes it's nice to get something good at the beginning to help ease the pain and make it less of a grind. In that situation I would recommend getting the Paystar 5070 because you can purchase all terrain tires right away without needing to rank up first. Same for the P12 but the top engine for it is in Alaska and it struggles with power a lot until then.
      The thing is these trucks require an even higher rank before they unlock offroad tires than the free trucks you get in Michigan (ie - Fleetstar, GMC, and White Western Star).
      So if you're already ranked up it doesn't make sense to buy the Paystar and no real need to buy the P12. There are other trucks you could buy for hauling to replace the free ones but they don't give much of an advantage at that point and will greatly reduce your bank account and fleet.
      If you just want to try some different trucks, the Freightliners are good performers but are rank locked and some of the upgrades are in Alaska. Also the CAT trucks are powerful but certain upgrades are once again rank locked. Everything is so balanced to make sure you don't get an advantage without also accepting a disadvantage. This is the reason I use the free trucks because they basically are already designed to be the best performers for the early regions if you don't want to skip to Russia and get something OP. Hope this helps 🙂

      Glad you found the channel! It's a good time here in RUclips land! Lol! This channel saved me from ditching a game that has fast become my absolute favorite of all time! For real! I also watch usually on my lunch breaks at work, and then put it on again from home where I have a "follow along with Zorshix" game save. Some stuff I have already done on my regular save, and as Zorshix has said before, at least being familiar with the regions has been a huge help to me at least! And his input is full of hidden GOLD! Like the reply he made here... I too have a hard mode save, and this info is going to be essential for me once I get there..... Screenshot engage! Lol!

    Why not use any of the Azov's for logs?

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  7 дней назад +2

      The Azovs are a good choice for logging but up until Yukon I've only used the trucks I get for free in game. A few episodes back I purchased my first truck (the Paystar 5070) and then the P12 right after, so I don't own any Azovs yet.

  • @ConfusedRaccoon

    Is it really that much easier to go over the top of the crest instead of taking the road for Stocking up?!

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  6 дней назад +1

      Maybe easier isn't the right word. More like feasible mainly because the road doesn't have any winch points, is super slanted to the side, and has a giant boulder right in the middle. I've never been able to traverse it cleanly without having a huge mess of logs all over the place and a second truck with a log crane to assist.
      The P12 is a bit tall and wide for the crest route, sometimes taking a smaller truck through there is "easier" but having a heavy winch helps too.
      Mostly I just want to know that I can get it done and that route usually seems to work best for me. I would love to know how other people accomplish it though.

    • @ConfusedRaccoon

      @@zorshix I hear that. I've recently jumped back into SR and been enjoying it. I had to stop as it just annoyed me. I believe I've completed that map but will have to go back and check as I don't remember doing that task.

      @@ConfusedRaccoon I have a game save that follows Zorshix, and I struggled to go that route with the P12, which I use unnecessarily in places it doesn't belong... Lol! But still, I dump those logs every time as well! So... I did tip a load enough to unpack but still have three on the trailer when going over the crest with the P12, but its wide enough to settle the load and I repacked, and was able to back up a lil and shoot down! I nearly quit SR before actually playing! Lol! This channel and the gentleman behind it are truly incredible!

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  6 дней назад

      Well you don't HAVE to, but it does get you set up a little better for the dlcs.
      Before new game plus was a thing I used to start my new games in Kola Peninsula with just the Chevy and whatever DLC trucks I had in the garage (back then it was the anniversary dlcs and a handful of individual trucks).
      The Tatra t813 will get you going in Kola with its stock mud tires and the Kahn Marshall is more than enough of a scout for any region. You can rank up pretty quickly in Kola and get a lot of cash right away.

    • @zorshix

      Well that is a subjective question but if you want my opinion, I've always been the biggest fan of the Kola Peninsula experience. There's no other map like it in the game. Amur is similar but with a much harder degree of difficulty. Kola just has a perfect balance of beauty and difficulty.
