This is basically my dash cam for when I ride my motorcycle. Just turn it on and it records everything. No need to worry about angles. Such a great camera!
@@DZ-cq3gs I use the Insta360 Heavy Duty Clamp. It comes with a wrench that let's you really tighten the clamps on it so that it doesn't move at all. Once It's on, it is on for good.
Mine just arrived 2 days ago, and already loving it! Only tested it walking around the Scottish Highlands a wee bit, but definitely very easy to setup and fun to use. Off to Thailand at the end of next week too, and for the first time in 10 years I've decided not to lug all my camera gear and just take this along instead. And while I'm totally loving this camera. there are a few things I wish it did have - different bit-depths for video, an official plugin for Davinci, AEB when taking photos, and maybe some plugins for Lightroom/Photoshop too (or more functionality for tweaking raw files and blending exposures in the desktop app). Anyways, thanks for video, really enjoyed watching! :)
I've had one of these for about 4 months. I sold my old GoPro 360 Max and got one of these, hoping it would be a step up. I was very dissapointed with the out of the box quality though, in good sunshine and light it's OK, but if the light dips at all it was awful and grainy. If slicing some 1080 2D from it, the quality was nowhere near my DJI Actions cams. You could tweak it in manual mode, however when out and about, you can't do that because the sun and weather changes all the time. In 8K 30 and vieing the 360, it's marginally better than the GoPro 360. You can see the resolution is better, but the quality of the video damages the image too much. I would agree with the usability of the camera. Its well put together, the software is brilliant, the camera is very intuitive to use, it's never overheated, the batteryy is good. Its just the quality is just poor for me. I have just downlaoded the latest firmware 1.2.31 and it does seem to upgrade the image wuality so hopefully that helps!! I also got that big stick and its great for getting some footage from out in front of the boat. Almost looks like a drone shot! If they could sort the image quality out, then it would be the best camera in my arsenal no doubt but for the money they need to sort out that image quality for me
I've haf this with the insta one rs with the 360 module it was so disappointing and poor quality not even worth shooting. When with the 4k boost module I found only usable with sunny weather. I just don't understand the rave about it. I'm just thinking not to throw agian 500 euro in the mud
Fully agree with you👍🏻. The camera is awesome, unique views, so much flexibility after recording, good 4K export quality. It replaces some cameras on different perspektive.
Nice video.. my only issue I have so far is the Glare the Premium lenses put off when using them. I went back to the Standard lenses as the produce less glare. Just my opinion
Nice video and Anna Maria Island! I've been considering moving to a 360 camera for a few years now and this might be the one. One disadvantage is that it seems like it would be a little difficult to just hang from a clip-on mount on a rucksack shoulder strap like I do with my GoPro when I'm walking around. Something I'd have to figure out I guess.
I love the quality and flexibility of this camera but im not happy with two main issues ! 1, it will not download footage to my phone (S24) without having to trim a second of the footage first. 2, my longer starlapse clips jump hallway through back to an earlier clip in the recording!
Hi! I'm from Brazil, and I loved your video and really appreciate the explanations. However, I still have a specific question. Although I know the final decision is mine, I would love to hear your impressions. I previously had an Insta360 GO 3, which I sold to invest in the GO 3S, but after watching videos about the X4, I’m quite inclined to consider it. My main purpose for the X4 would be to use it during my travels. In fact, some of the footage you showcased is exactly the kind of trip I'll be doing, including a cruise and visits to amusement parks like Disneyland. Do you recommend the X4 for use in the parks? If so, what would be the best way to use it, especially on roller coasters? I need equipment that can keep it securely in my hand. Is that possible with the X4, and does the video remain stable when held that way? With the GO 3, I used a magnetic lanyard for mounting, but I’m not sure how to secure the X4. Also, I’d like to know if the X4 can record in a horizontal position or if it only works vertically. Thanks for your attention and help!
@@raphaelaraujorapha298 the great thing about the x4 you can reframe afterwards to any aspect so vertical or horizontal! For theme parks it’s perfect and you can either use the invisible stick if the park allows it or a small handheld tripod , it’s secures with the tripod thread under it, it’s a great camera and I prefer it over the go3s
I have x3 great all round camera.BUT CRAP LENS PROTECTION. 1 of my lens has collected a couple of marks on that cant remove thus ruining videos. Not good enough for such a expensive camera.😢
Thanks I’ve just found your channel. It’s great 👍 Could you advise on the SD card? Would you just get it within the bundle from insta360 or do you recommend another one?
I think you mentioned about time lapse, star lapse can you tell me more about what you said? Now if your doing star lapse i think that means the stars at night, but you said its not that great in low level light?
They still didn't add AEB, which is ridiculous and renders it unusable for every semi-professional real estate agent (the x3 had this function!) I'm glad I returned it on the first month and got Qoocam 3 ultra
My only problem with the app is I can’t export in 4k to my phone. The app just shuts down halfway through. I have a brand new galaxy s24 so there really isn’t a reason i shouldn’t be able to export in 4k and it drives me insane.
Went on a cruise last year with the X3, while I’m recording with my super extended mammoth stick i wasn’t aware of the people above us..when reviewing my footage didn’t know a couple was having sex on the balcony 2 floors above us on the heat of lunch hour in the bahamas😂😂 the extended selfie stick capture 10 minutes of footage!😂😵💫

Which mount do you use for that? Just ordered mine and want to do the same.

Absolutely brilliant camera!
The "hit record and be present with your family" is its best feature...oh, and the slow mo!

my favourite camera 🥰 waiting for next iteration with 10 or 12K capability

Can it be used as a main camera for RUclips and social media vídeos?
Do you find that the image quality changes with the lens guard? I don't think I heard you mention that? If you did, I went deaf for that moment lol
For motovlogging paired with a DJI Action 4 as a helmet cam it’s brilliant, so easy to use too…
Bought one few weeks ago and agree it’s great! I noticed you didn’t mention the standard lens protectors that come with the X4?

Hey great video! Thanks for the info. I’m just starting out making videos on my bike and your video was very helpful!
Thank you !
Love this camera I think it’s the best 360 cam
Wow the shots you got 🔥

Hey the insta360 bundle that comes with the memory card is great, I use LEXAR cards on all my camera, I would advising getting a 128gb card
@@DMProductions what’s the v30 and v60 that I have seen on diffent cards? And can I use the same card in a DJI mini 4 pro if I get one?
The 8K Vid will knock your socks off.
Thank you for your review. It was quite helpful.
Love from south korea. I like your honest review videos. It helps alot. Plz give a review on dji neo latest firmware update.
How does it not show the selfie stick???

I am under the impression the Qoocam ultra 3 does everyhting better, except for the App ease of use, would you say this is true?
and it's so smooth no gimbal required
Thank You 🙂💙👍
Good review!
When is X5 coming ?
Prob not for a while

Do you have a link for the longer selfie stick?
He’s on the 3m version on the insta360 website

Are you still using this and still like it after 12 months 😉
Yes all the time
Let’s goooo - I just created a similar video LOL
Such a good camera !
GoPro is now dead to me after producing videos with the outstanding X4
Its crap. I sold mine after a few weeks. Very poor quality.
did you get something instead? Or just waiting for something new on the market?
What didn't you like about it?
This thing overheat on me! Terrible!
