    Good restoration!! A little info about snap on model numbers. The G in the model number indicates it has an industrial finish (black oxide) so if you need parts in the future it’s something to consider.

    Very beautiful robust ratchet.
    And you were very lucky to find the replacement part that fits so perfectly.
    Someone probably sprained the wrist when that tooth broke 🙃

    Nicely done. I just finished restoring a Snap On No 71-M yesterday and i installed the same kit. So far I'm quite happy with it but i haven't used it yet.

    That a very nice restoration. The ratchet looks great and it works perfect. Thats what we look for. Great job. Just curious what was the cost of the repair parts?

    Did you reuse the original switch or was that a new replacement part?

      I used the new switch, but I could have very easily used the original one as well.
