    Hey, happy new year and you're really modding out that LZ! Thanks for the step-by-step, I've ordered a sub for my Godzilla and this will be helpful!! Cheers from Canada.

      Happy new year to you guys as well! Yes, I have a few more mods I want to do on this machine before I am done. This is the first newer Stern machine I have owned that has several mods readily available. The mod market for my Data East machines is pretty much non existent outside of artblades so I am going to have a little fun with this one! Thanks for watching!

      @@TiltingT For sure, got to appreciate the Pinball machines. I got a chance to go to the Pacifica Pinball Museum recently, and I could have spent all day there :)

      @ChicagoRetroGamer That's cool, I haven't had an opportunity to go there yet bit hope I can make the trip one day. I always check out the arcade and pinball scene when I travel. Most of the time I have it planned before I get there!😅

    Pinball Life had a Spike2 backbox lock/key set that has what is apparently the 'standard' H95 keying. It matched my backbox and the key works. My coin door is a H10 for comparison sake. PBL doesn't seem to sell "official Stern" coinbox lock/key sets. They have something with a #700 key. The Suzo/Happ locks I have use 'E00' keys.
    I'd hope they have different keys for the coin doors to avoid any home owner from being able to get into the coin boxes at the local arcades. However, in an alternate dimension, you can turn to a life of crime with your H95 key and become "the Translite Bandit" apparently...
    To avoid the key problem in the future, you could buy a Keyless Coin Door Lock ($4 at PBL) that sticks out less and is more likely to survive spirited 'nudging'. Good luck!

      😅🤣 Translite Bandit strikes again! I would see the pinside thread now! 😅🤣 Thanks for the info I need to make another order soon..like Chubbs said in Happy Gilmore.."it's all in the hips" and I need to keep my hip out of it.😅 I can't believe I have done the same thing multiple times..I guess I am a little hard headed. It would probably be best for me to install the thumb locks for sure. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!

    • @slinger2112
      @slinger2112 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@TiltingT Yeah. Either the thumb locks or just keep the key in the coin returns like you already are for the broken keys. I just checked, my unbroken key *does* fit in the return. I'd still get a 'normal' replacement to throw in the coin box to have on hand. I did a shaker on my game too. Good value upgrades! Enjoy!

      @slinger2112 Yeah I have to get that shaker Installed soon.. been too busy with work the past 2 weeks to work on my game..I plan on installing it this weekend when I should have some time

      @@TiltingT Clamping on the ferrite cores and routing the wires through the guides takes more time than actually installing the shaker motor itself. In my case, the motor was almost too strong and started creating a rattle. Anti rattle tape on the bottom edges of the glass took care of it, but made it difficult to remove the glass. PBL also has a limiter, but it dampened the shaker it a little too much. No rattle though….

    • @TiltingT
      @TiltingT  7 месяцев назад +1

      @slinger2112 Yeah the ferrites are the main reason I haven't installed it yet as I figured that was going to take a little extra time .. my glass should be ok..it's super tight on this machine. Then I get to look and see what mod I want to do next .. My friend just got the cross ramp mod for the hermit shot from Nitro Pinball . I am going to check ot out and of I like the way it shoots and feeds I may add that to this one

      Yeah I saw the video that Keith Elwin posted about it and can't wait for an opportunity to play it. We will be getting a JAWS Pro where I play in a local league so I am hoping it won't be too ling before I get to play one.

    Nice. So now that you’ve had the BOOM BOOM installed for some months do you feel like it makes a noticeable improvement over the OEM speaker?

    • @TiltingT
      @TiltingT  4 месяца назад +1

      Only when I really crank the game up do I notice the difference..I went with the settings that Danesi recommended but i do feel like I could get a little more out of it if I cranked up a few settings in the EQ...is it a must buy again for me? No not really but Ibeill definitely buy the 5 1/4" Kenwood head speakers and surround lights again..I absolutelylove that addition..If you want a huge difference in bass go with a powered sub.. I have a powered sub from an older pioneer surround sound system I plan on trying just as an experiment..but for $40 i figured this was worthy of a try

    • @TiltingT
      @TiltingT  18 дней назад

      @1Williams yes the Boom Boom came with a set of settings that were recommended by Scott Danesi ..The settings made a little difference but the upgrade is a little limited by the stock Stern Amplifier no matter what the settings is are
