i love when its says reduce the sweet spot i'm in little league and my whole team have makos and there overpowered even a bunt will go into the outfield
They play with 180 ft fences..
no the play on 200ft fences
You are both right
235-300
Proud to be a player of this amazing sport
My travel team could destroy these teams like this😂
Select teams would crush these little leaguers
Yeah but not that many little leaguers can throw 70 but almost all MLB pitchers can throw 90 or higher
Austin Fitts no MLB average is 86
Jacob Elsenbrook mlb average is over 91 rn
Jacob Elsenbrook but most pitchers throw 93+
Its still easier to hit a slower ball from close than a 90+ mph ball from any distance tbh
And we are pitching from 50 feet
isnt that the distance for intermediate? little league plays on 46/60 but intermediate plays on 50/70 and mlb plays on 60/90
This video is cool love baseball
Little league is crappy baseball for the age.
im 13 and have a 33/30 bat 2 5/8 diameter so this isn't all that accurate.
But little league is 12 years and younger so you have to use a small barrel bat probably -10 or -11
Greydon Parker no
Best major ranked select team in the world be little league World Series champions final score little leaguers 1 select team 12 summary the little leaguers aren't as good as you think
Once my team scrimmaged a little league team. we won 28-0 and had 8 home runs on 350 fields. Their pitches were all fastballs around 60 and changeups, while are fastballs are around 75-80 withan array of offspeed pitches. and are defense did not make any errors while they had 7. That being said we were state champions, and they did not even win there league. So It was not exactly a fair comparison.
You can't compare
This video is pointless, why would you even compare MLB to little league, it's completely different playing field this just seems pointless to me
Who else is watching this for pe class assignment? Only me?
I just turned 15, but I used to throw around 65 when I was 12. 70 miles on average for a 12 year old is not true though.
Now as my body has developed a bit (6'3 250lb), I throw 79-82 now.
For the little league world series 70 mph is actually what the better pitchers throw
These kids are my age and playing on 200 foot fields?! I play on 250 on the left and right field and 300 down center. If any travel team would play the kids in the LLWS, they’d get BODIED!
Yeah, the strike zone shrinks for the little leaguer, but the little league pitcher is closer to the plate, so that more than makes up for it.
The reason more runs are scored during a little leuage game is because MLB pitcher are better a locating pitches and also are better at throwing pitches that break more.
These kids are throwing 70 from a 9-10 year old mound it's not impressive back up to the distance they should be at, at the age that they are (12-15) 60 feet six inches and they will only throw around 55mph.
Miles per hour doesn't change over distance. 70 mph is 70 mph regardless of the distance it travels.
@@sapph4324 Alright, I’ve seen my fair share of dumb comments for today, time for bed lol
School😭
Anybody 2019?😂⚾️
...and minor leaguers are somewhere in between?
I throw 77-82 and I just turned 14
Did he just use Felix Hernandez as an example of an "average pitcher"?
he is the average for the pitcher that make it to the llws. Almost all of them throw more than 70, carols Gonzales could throw 81 mph when he was in little league.
Meredith Hughes i dont think you understand buddy. Felix Hernandez is an all time great pitcher in the majors, and they said he was average
Me and 3 other players on my team can get up to 75 mph and we are 12
