always loved the girls performance at YHY sketchbook, the high quality equipment is far better than any regular music show, so they can sing live without too much MR bcos of poor quality equipment, there are even live band too. cant wait for them to be here again. 퇴보라고 하면 좀 극단적이고, 컨셉에 맞든 안맞든 잘팔릴만한 노래를 만들고 있다고 생각하는게 더 맞을듯... 아무래도 소녀시대는 소화할 수 있는 스펙트럼이 넓어서 어떤 컨셉을 주더라도 잘 소화해냈지만, 최근엔 그런 스펙트럼 자체가 넓지 않고 대중적으로 먹히는 노래가 아니라 해당 그룹을 지지하는 특수한 코어팬층을 겨냥하는 느낌...? 물론 소녀시대가 넘사벽인것도 있습니다.

But they can give the charismatic vibe, and they can make you shiver just by watching them performing their song. Most of the time during their concert I have to turn down my volume because of her. She's always singing over the others especially when she has a duet with Yuri. The others voices are soft Fany & Tae have a great deal of volume.
My God, the bridge part was soooooo cool! This song and the dance gives such a good feeling. I wish the stage was bigger though, it looked a little too crowded for nine girls and a couple of backdancers; Made me worry if the girls would trip on something or accidentally fall off the stage. this is one of the few kpop songs that is satisfying to hear when it ends. since this was a hard performance, the pay off in the end is so pleasing that you can see the hardwork placed within the whole choreography and vocal performance. *i miss this group so bad!*
Wow... it's almost 2020 and I can't help but imagine the kind of impact SNSD would have today. No lipsync, good looking, great songs, great singers, good dancers and fun personalities. No disrespect to BlackPink or Twice but you gotta admit SNSD live performances were just from another planet. Tiffany hitting that high note without any backing vocals is just impressive, God I miss them so much.
Whenever I watch performances like this by SNSD, I am always reminded what a long way to go for current and future gg to be at par with their level (even when SNSD retires as a group). They can easily get views and whatnot with the technology age but it's a different thing to have such an impact and strong classic throwback songs that many parts of the world know. All the members of SNSD are def all strong since even if they do individual activities, they all do well in it, may it be acting, variety, model or solo albums. This is one of their strenghts: being strong as a team and being strong individually. You'll rarely or never hear excuses for their comebacks (even in their debut) about their vocal and dance level. Even if they lip sync at one event, you are confident that they can nail and slay that song live (not just by a member but by all members). Nowadays, most fans have to defend their faves with "she's sick", "they're so busy" and whatever bs but SNSD and SONES aren't into those things. That's why they're still the true queens of kpop! *SONE SINCE 2008*

Whenever I watch performances like this by SNSD, I am always reminded what a long way to go for current and future gg to be at par with their level (even when SNSD retires as a group). They can easily get views and whatnot with the technology age but it's a different thing to have such an impact and strong classic throwback songs that many parts of the world know. All the members of SNSD are def all strong since even if they do individual activities, they all do well in it, may it be acting, variety, model or solo albums. This is one of their strenghts: being strong as a team and being strong individually.
You'll rarely or never hear excuses for their comebacks (even in their debut) about their vocal and dance level. Even if they lip sync at one event, you are confident that they can nail and slay that song live (not just by a member but by all members). Nowadays, most fans have to defend their faves with "she's sick", "they're so busy" and whatever bs but SNSD and SONES aren't into those things. That's why they're still the true queens of kpop!

I know I'm being butthurt, but Jessica was such an essential member of the group. :'( She was lazy when it comes to dancing, but if you listen closely through blasting headphone volume, the only ones singing live during the chorus were Taeyeon, Seohyun, and Jessica. :'(
+xxonspotlight TIFFANY too, always sings with her loud voice during the chorus parts.
