I like that you've brought up the water quality issue, because regardless of what equipment you're using, it's full potential won't be realised & as you say, there's the possiblity of damaging high end equipment if the water isn't spot on. 👍

So my question is how does a company like Starbucks remineralize their water to the same standard regardless of the location? Is the remineralization cartridge customized based on the location and how can I achieve the same at home ?

Carbon filtration is usually enough in Sydney. Something like the Fiberdyne range would be good. 2 2FC-S

Testing the water coming off my bestmax premium I get 14gh/9KH and a ph 6.6 ( my bluelab pen might need a re cal) is it possible to cascade filters to improve this. Any ideas? Thanks 👍

If one uses RO combined with remineralization afterwards, what should be the target TDS in this case ?

Hes totally wrong about Ion exchange. Its removes minerals and heavy metals by releasing sodium in the exchange. It also fouls releasing fishy smell in the water.
