Our RUclips channel features the Behind the Scenes with the team who work at FarmFLiX, including the Founder John McClean and our resident farmer Mr Alan Clyde. This blog features a crew outing to County Cork, Ireland during first cut 2021 where a long haul and harvester problems have the lads caught for what to do for a few hours. It doesn't take them long to find out that a few members of the local Mogeely Vintage Club are picking a few acres with some classic kit so it would be rude not to spin past to find out more. Featuring a few mint pieces of kit from the Ford TW-20, the Mercedes-Benz MB Trac, John Deere 7810, Massey Ferguson 390T and two classic harvesters including a rare Fiatagri Hesston it's all happening while the sun is splitting the trees. Stick with it to the end when the boys get over-excited about some Volvo shovels, including a rare 642 built in 1964, when they catch up with their planned silage crew for the day at John O'Flynn's.

By far the best content on RUclips by clean mile lads
Cheers boss :P
John that man looked nervous sitting on the passenger seat of the MB track when u were looking for gears in her. Great episode!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Unreal kit
Unreal craic
I’m 24, I drew with timber sided single axles remember throwing a car tyre in behind the ram at the front to stop the slap 😆 werent as bad on the ears as the redrock replacements.
never had a close one with them thank God. Used to draw with fiats. 680’s 880, 70-90, 80-90, 100-90 all 2wd’s.
Good to hear there's still a few men about getting schooled the right way ;)
Remember back in the mid 90s drawing silage with a single axle Fraser with a 956 4wd International 🤷 managed to keep it upright all day👌
The stuff of legends
My old boy said with the old single axles to keep them pinned and dont look back or it might scare you lol
We made the backround in our ford 7610 on a red silage trailer and or ts 115 beeped at the start of the episode 😂😂
Excellent, I’m smiling with the last hr😀,
Oh the memories!
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant. Doesn’t always have to be new and shiny machinery. Shows everyone having a bit of craic and enjoying themselves 👍👌💪🚜
Yeah unfortunately the older kit rarely gets to be on centre stage when the work needs done - more men should volunteer themselves for a filming day like this ;)
Some video best one I saw in a long time , twoud put you in a good humour looking at them lads totally happy with their work and machines
Genial - Nos vemos en el campo con TractorPasion
Great video. Just had to point out the Grassmen sticker on the rear window of the John Deere at 14:14 😂😂
Love the the old school John. Even some videos on single chop double chop and old silage wagons. Cracking video. 👍
Yeah takes you back for a blast from the past... wonder what is the most acres a man has ever put though a double chop in a single season?
Great video there boys... some memories from the old volvo what I learned to drive 30 year ago.. to the 1500 could tell u plenty of stories .. awesome tractor... we had one and changed out the old engine for an 1824 truck engine... it was some tractor 84 kmh pulling a bulk fert spreader.
Sounds like a beast Michael!
Fraser trailers are a northern Irish thing. Single axle wooden sided Gillespie and sixsmiths are what we learned our trade on down in Carlow every job from drawin silage then the silage extensions were taken off for grain , beet and dung . The good old days with Ford 7610’s zetors and deutz dx’s .
Hurled senior for 19 yr !! 2 johnnies reference
Great video lads
Like the accents from cork hai
Wondered if that was an original line or not... he was too quick off the mark with it! lol
What legends do we have
A good few in this one ;)
@@farmflix yes but not the main tash himself city boy
What a fleet
Unreal Sean
Watching Jon in the 1500 reminds me of my first time in a merc arxor when I just passed my test lol took me ages to sus it out lol
There some club great video nice to see all that gear working
Yeah would be nice to be part of that regularly for the sport
A nice surprise! 👏
Cheers Ewan
top drawer! smashin content
Good video men. Well done.
That TW looks mint! And if it's a powerstar 7.5 it's a lethal machine! :)
She's on the market if you look on Facebook 😉
Lovely to see the older gear out, you should allways finish filling the trailers at the front, so it has the length of the trailer to clear the Shute.
We'll give him some time to learn that one John, only day 2 on the harvester and the stick seemed quite sensitive to pulling her back
@@farmflix ah of course he was very good actually for a first timer, all the best lads. 👍🏻
Great show lads
Cheers Davy
First experience at grass was with a single axle fraser side filling beside a double chop, best way to learn
You had it handy Owen... need to be dropping and picking up trailers to learn how to hit the eye first time!
@@farmflix did it that way the next year and then graduated to the tractor and bukrake for second cut
Aye, the engines are green in the Volvos, we have a 4500 (A bigger older version of that L70) and she's got the same 7 liter engine
Would love to have seen kit like that in action back when it was new!
@@farmflix it would be pure class, the sound of those yolks is second to none
Fantastic video!! Where is Mr. Blue tee from?? And that Tera gator is mad!!
classic fleet
Quality episode as usual guys, really enjoyed this one 😎 Ye should try to get down to one of the Mogeely or Ahiohill working days in Cork, always a great day out 👍
It's nice there's not too many people running about, really enjoyed the atmosphere of just the local lads enjoying themselves
@@farmflix Fair point alright.
That MB Trac - Some Job !
Yeah she was mint
Brilliant stuff😀😀👍
Mighty!
Good vids, like farming,
love an MB used to drive one as a kid .
whats up with the climbing harness?
Safety tool for while he's filming that he forgot to take off... the walking interview just kinda snowballed when we pulled up in the yard after the diesel fix
That TW is a beaut only thing that goes wrong is they can drop valves apart from that bombproof. Ontops were lorry gearbox bypass in coleraine lorry couldnt pass her but she did a while lot of bouncing the ole boy said
Aw jasus lads i think ya just gave @evenflow a run for his Money for one of the best vids on utube. Loved every single machine, i am actually nursing a semi right now.😉😉😂😂 more old lads keep up the good work.
Praise indeed! Literally laughed out loud at this comment :D
When will we see the big 78 on the 5 furrow
Omg, a 1500, classy.
Go on cork boy
Some spot!
Very good. Ye shud go walk about like that more often. Id have clicked like to that episode if it was on farmflix too
Yeah would love to have a crack at a few more days like this where it's that chilled out vibe
@@farmflix if its at all possible ye shud go back to flynns again this year again. And get an interveiw with the man himself. Id say he wud be interesting. His daughter was good too by all means interview her again.
Mogeely Vintage Club
Some team of men :D
Should do some filming with Cormac Cassidys crew
Show him this ;)
@@farmflix 7840 bais!!!
38:00 what do other people say about agricultural engineering? I would like to do it, but still have time to change my mind. Anyone got any advice??
Just do it.👍
Still will be a good career - just depends if you want to be physical in your creation. Software has a world of opportunity since the invention of the internet but then you're strapped to a computer everyday which might not be what you want
Doesnt look like the orig light brackets on teh front of cab and someone put them on the wrong way round supposed to face up so you can see them lol
Adore that 3050
Hard to beat a clean 50 series for some style
The don't care what it cost, I am going out with another few extra bags of fertilizer to make the grass grow faster. Roll on silage season
Good man Brian! :)
Volvo engines were mostly Green
Does anyone know the fella with the 4 diahatsu fourtrax I'd be very interested in buying them I had one on the farm and it packed up I've always wanted to get one for the road
How many Irish men douse it take to fuel up a tractor? A hell of a lot by the look of it.🙄🙄🙄
sure you know yourself :)
Ye all the volvo engines were green
Well
Well ;)
When next update fram flix
Every week on the FarmFLiX app, only once in a while here on RUclips :P
@@farmflix don’t have app

Could be a long day in the dub all the same Andy lol :)
@@farmflix ahh I know grew up with all the old ford's 8210s
