  • The first of the Seven Feasts is Passover and Unleavened Bread. Zola Levitt reveals how the Messiah is clearly presented in this 3,500-year-old "crown jewel" of the biblical feasts.
SERIES: “The Seven Feasts of Israel”
Generations have been fascinated and spiritually edified by these feasts of Israel, given by the Lord to the Jewish people in Leviticus 23 and 16. Recorded in 1984 for the Zola Levitt Presents television program, these seven programs feature interviews with Jean Rosenberg and footage from Israel. A wonderful experience! This series was produced in 1984, therefore some of the material and offers are dated.
We invite you to watch our weekly television program "Our Jewish Roots" as we bring you Bible teaching with an emphasis on Israel, prophecy and the Jewish roots of the Christian faith.

Thank you for this wonderful message, I'm a Nigerian Christian that discovered about the feasts of the Lord as written in Leviticus Chapter 23 about ten years ago. I'm so happy to celebrate this feasts with our brothers and sisters who do so. Please let's pray that more Christians will know about these feasts of the Lord and begin to celebrate them as we should instead of the pagan feasts that are being celebrated. Shalom brethren and God bless you guys.

It's so amazing when I can explain the launguage in the New Testament to people that had no idea about Jewish tradition and what the significance of the launguage was in Jesus' time

Oh my goodness this is such hopeful timing as I would like to honour the unleavened. I was thinking to my self that there must be prayers that I can do to go along with the meal. Can you please share some of the "haggadah" if possible

Hi. my Jewish Messianic Christian friends at Our Jewish Roots. Many thanks to the Late Mr.Zola Levitt for his insights into the Seven Jewish Feasts which are the Roots, Types and "Shadows of Things to Come" of the God's Great Plan and Schedule for the Redemption of all Mankind.
But may I ask your Rabbis and Doctors of the Jewish Bible this one question which have bothered me?
Was Our Lord's Last Supper which some Evangelical or Protestant Christian Churches commemorate as ''Maundy Thursday' a Passover Seder?
If it was. then the Crucifixion of our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hammoshiach) could not have occurred on the daylight part of the 14th Nisan 33AD (and on a THURSDAY) but on the daylight part of the 15th Nisan (which was on a GOOD FRIDAY or PREPARATION DAY for the Coming SABBATH was a Weekly Sabbath or the JEWISH REST DAY or SATURDAY-)
For "the Passover Seder (Hebrew: סדר פסח [ˈSeder ˈPesach], 'Passover order/arrangement'; Yiddish: סדר [ˈseider]) is a ritual feast at the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover. It is conducted throughout the world ON THE EVE of the 15th day of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar (i.e., AT THE START of the 15th; a Hebrew day BEGINS AT SUNSET ). The day falls in late March or in April of the Gregorian calendar" according to Wikipedia.
This would AGREE and CONFIRM and not CONTRADICT the statement in John 19:11 "Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day (Greek: Παρασκευὴ Paraskeve =Friday), that the bodies should not remain on the cross ON THE SABBATH (FOR THAT SABBATH was a HIGH (Greek: μεγάλη Megale = MEGA or GREAT) DAY, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
Could we all have been wrong all these years in assuming that Jesus Christ our Passover Lamb was crucified and sacrificed (as our Pesach Korban) EXACTLY on the Daylight Part of Passover Day or on the 14th Nisan in 33AD which started on the 13th Sunset at Dusk or Twilight into the 14th Sunset when the day began, rather than a day later ON A HIGH DAY or GREAT ANNUAL SABBATH = 15th Nisan?
    What is your answer?

This is mere traditions mixed with Truth. This should not be.
The new year is after the barley is abib then the next crescent ( new) moon.
and If you wait that long til march then the barley falls out onto the ground and there won’t be the wave offering.
The first of the year normally starts in February and the Passover is usually ( so far) has been in the beginning of March.
It’s When the lambs are being born at the beginning of the year.
The ( so called) Jews mess up and end up doing trumpets n atonement in the wrong month also.
When they do it in April This would make tabernacles in late October or beginning of November.
Cuz it’s 7 months later but they usually do it in beginning of October and Passover in mid to late April and this can’t be.
We become Hebrew Israel when we become believers through Messiah and His Holy Spirit.
Also note: The Holy Spirit is female, the mom who births. Isaiah 11:1, proverbs 1, revelation says the Holy Spirit is 7 fold and in Mathew says HER children.
She hovered over the earth in the beginning and Adam and Eve were made at the same time in THEIR image. ❤
