Just heard our dear Shree. She is really fantastic, not only as a nurse but a very good friend who is always there to hear us about any doubts regarding our family's health and give appropriate suggestions. Hats off to her and wishing her good health and happiness and for her guiding spirit. Shree, very proud to have you ad our friend. An important lesson I learnt from her is never be ashamed if who you are.

I loved the energy! Practical ideas, not treating students like herds-that’s exactly what we need. Despite all the assignments, many graduates still struggle with something as basic as writing an application. We need to let them make mistakes, give them space to think independently, and actually learn. What’s the point of cramming everything in the name of the "best curriculum" if it doesn’t translate into real-world skills?
Attrition is another major challenge hospitals face. It’s not new, but how sustainable is it to function with a constant 30-35% turnover in bedside caregivers?
The point about visibility really struck a chord. When our children can proudly say, "My mother is a Nurse, and I am who I am because of her," it means everything.
In our country, the more a nurse is educated, the further she moves from patient care (though that is slowly changing). Growth should be measured not just in knowledge but in the number of patients we’ve actually cared for. Knowledge isn’t just for teaching-it’s for practice.
Thank you for the show. Jayashree Ma’am, you spoke from the heart, and I truly appreciate it. Thank you, Pearl, for bringing this to us!
