I need help please. I overhauled my 41TE of 1997 DGC (270K km). I replaced all plates, clutches, rings, clean/flush the solenoid body, torque converter, except to re-use the old solenoid pack. I tested this SP and the ohms is good within specs. I decided not to replace (just total flush) as I thought I can still replace this if the low shift bump will persist later (as this is an external part). The bump never go away after the overhaul but there's no code. After running some +300km. I decided to replace the SP pack with brand new Wagner. The van works well smoothly during road test but reverts to its old bumps today just after some 50 km. What else should I need to check/do to remove the bumps. I understand the bump will start to erase all the spline of the planetary gear as I found out in the overhaul. (I replaced this part too on the overhaul). Thank you for time in advance.
I have been trying to eliminate a leak that I finally was able to figure out that the passenger axle extension housing was the cause and I'm curious to know for the reinstallation is RTV or other used when remounting into place? I have read through a step by step rebuild and it states that there is nothing is used and I'm having a hard time understanding why that is. I'd have to reinstall it incorrectly and have to take everything again. Do you know for sure whether yes or no RTV?
Yes my friend. RTV used..Also keep in mind, depending on the year, there's bushing inside those extension housing that wear and allow axle shaft to move a lot and sometime will cause that leak. Thsnks for watching..also are you subscribed tobthe channel?
Curious how many instances where Transmission Whining isn't actually an issue with the TC or pump directly? I really wish you had more videos on NAG-1's! I'm currently fighting a P2784 code in one and can't find much info about it, Replaced the Conductor plate and harness plug, Completely cleaned the valve body by taking it apart. Car drove perfect for 2 weeks then threw the same exact code putting it back in limp. Only thing i couldn't check was the actual solenoids to see if they hold pressure. My only confusion is the code is saying input A/B correlation with the speed sensor but the Whining makes me think something else. I can hear the TC in the bellhousing shudder for a couple seconds before the pump starts making that noise, So just curious if you have any wisdom you could drop on me about if you've experienced this code at all? Would consider driving this Magnum into the lake if it allowed me. lol
I don't know why they put that underpowered transmission in the caravans. They were in the small Dodge Neon. I know they're not built for speed but my goodness lol
Good tip... Havin trans issues with my youngest boys first car, a beautiful like new 96 Avenger...
That's some useful information right there.

Could you please recommend a bidirectional scanner that is focused on Chrysler ? I own a 2007 PT Cruiser.

lol, This was the technology out at the time. This 4 speed transmission was very popular back in the day
I’ve made a whole lotta money off these transmissions over it’s 20 year period..
