If coffee tastes "like chalk" to Cry, then either he's completely anosmic and can't taste anything, or he's never had a decent cup of coffee. I mean, if he's had a good, strong cup of real coffee, brewed correctly with nice, soft water, and fresh beans that were ground minutes or seconds before brewing, there's absolutely no way it can taste "like chalk." I have the feeling he just hates the bitterness. I can't blame him. If he drank as much black coffee as me, he'd probably get conditioned to love it like I do.

It's cool seeing your own city in a video game like this (Pittsburgh in this case), cuz it's interesting to see specific places and buildings from real life that the developers put in the game. It always just seems like random "filler" buildings in big cities in these kind of games, but the amount of real detail in it is really impressive
I love how Joel lets her take what she wants- the books for example. Others like Henry wouldn't even let Sam take a toy. I know it's a dangerous time but kids need to be kids too.
It's only natural to get a high on killing those who would kill you. Isn't that what evolution is all about? Priority 1: Stay alive. Priority 2: Spread your seed. Priority 3: profit! There's more to our lives in the first world than that. But in the end it will always boil down to feeling good by staying alive and reproducing, anything after that is just gravy, biologically speaking, so it makes sense that killing someone before they kill you feels good. You get to keep existing and never be bothered by that enemy again.
Cry, how protective you act towards Ellie makes me feel all warm inside and that there is in fact hope for the human race after all. Thank you for being a true gentleman.
Nah, this is a blind LP, friend. That trophy was for crafting every item, which is actually one of the few trophies that is achievable during your first playthrough. When I initially played, the first trophy that popped for me was about 45 minutes before the ending of the game. Naughty Dog made sure that there weren't trophies constantly popping while playing (primarily to keep you immersed in the atmosphere and story).
Ya i feel like an idiot i watched the entire series and noticed he got 2 trophies at the end. should not be to quick to judge lol. lesson learned. thanks for being polite about correcting me.
