Her signature sound is achieved by layering her vocals on top of one another. Her sister, the lead singer with Clannad, and as a solo performer, also has a beautiful voice.
Beautifully said and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically agree. She is stunningly beautiful and seems to have a strength derived from serenity, tremendous grace and a noble dignity. She is a most remarkable woman blessed with talent, intelligence, and beauty. I am not the kind of man who is a "fan"of famous people or given to silly or frivolous crushes. But I would also be lying if I didn't admit to being utterly captivated by Enya and her music. She is a most stunning woman on every level. I believe she is a model of womanhood that young ladies today should look to and learn from.
She is from Ireland and for many years has lived in a castle. She lives her music. Im glad you loved this song, it's one of my very favorite Enya songs .
I feel the same way. Not only is she beautiful but she has such a serene, strong, and noble presence. She has an elegant grace and quiet dignity that enhances her natural beauty and makes her a most remarkable woman.

If you have seen Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, she sings the end credits tune "May it Be", it's really lovely. The whole "Elven-ness" in the film matches Enya's own otherworldly Fairy-like quality.
Good one, Maddy. Enya grew up in a musical Irish family and started off singing with them as part of Clannad. When she finally went solo she became a huge star. You might also like Clannad's music. They were more traditionally Celtic, less New Agey than Enya later became, but they also were quite famous back in the day. Good stuff! Thanks for this reaction. 🙂
In case you'd want to know, Enya and her sister were members of and Irish band known as Clannad. After a while, Enya choose a solo carreer. But what made watching this so enjoyable was that I was watch two beautiful women at the same time - she and YOU! I think this has been the most wonderful reaction video I have ever seen. You and she are lovely!
The 35th Anniversary of the first release of Enya's Watermark album just occurred. Enya just released a Dolby Atmos mix of her big hit Orinoco Flow to honor the occasion. Watermark is filled with fantastic music. Her sound is ethereal, harmonically enrapturing and exquisitely beautiful.

OMG! I remember watching Enya perform this LIVE during the 2001 World Music Awards. Talk about angels! She sat at a grand piano, accompanied by several angels standing around her, playing violins in front of a beautiful background of tall, flowing light blue curtains. The rap artist who introduced her mentioned that her album had sold 100,000 copies. The first thing he said after being mesmerized by her performance was, "Make that 100,000 and one." I've been unable to locate ANY copies of that show or performance since then.
