But it was too late for him because the girl (niki) already moved on after all the misery and crying she did for him she could now move forward. Thats why the boy from the video comes last when it comes to moving on.

At the end of the video, niki is looking at a christmas tree, reminiscent to the christmas tree scene of niki and the guy. She seems to be thinking about the past again. Then, she walks away. This resembles her moving on for good. Niki's approach to the breakup was one of solitude and feeling the emptiness/loneliness, and when she's ready for love again, she finds it during a normal everyday activity. Meanwhile, the guy was trying to push away his feelings and quickly move on from one girl to another, but soon realises it was hopeless because he still misses her. I don't know why I did this random chunk of analysing, but Niki's videos always evoke a sense of 'wanting to analyse' especially because she's really good at word play and that sort of stuff evident in her lyrics. i feel this clip capture how a man and woman react of losing each other accurately.. At first, slightly after they broke, the man didnt feel sad at all.
