This game made my childhood! Very nice game mechanics , sound tracks... if you're coming up with some graphic improvements you'll kill!

One question: Why Redline edition? Why did you choose this awesome name?
While mostly being a fantasy name, it somewhat refers to the "red line" often seen on RPM dials, to mark the critical RPM area. At the same time we found that the red lines on black ground fits Crashday much nicer for the UI than the old blue and orange...so we put that into the name as well :)
The nostalgia hits hard... and I love it! Amazing job on bringing the game back!
i am so happy that i got the Steam Badge of Crashday on Level 5 :D

Hello Robert! It is amazing to see this game live again! I believe that Crashday Forum was one of my first online accounts I ever had, created in August 2003 (as "Mibars (pl)" ), came there thru a link on a CWA Board. On a "crash" side of a Crashday I think that I've experienced only one, maybe two crashes. Anyway - Keep on work and be aware that by doing that you are making many people, just like me, happy :)
This masterpiece is coming back even better and reinforced. This was the core of my childhood I'm glad to see crashday brought back even better.

I still got all of Taigo's cars and Mad Mike's stuff, including his impossible to find Death Day total conversion. Best stuff made for Crashday in my opinion.
I played the pirated version(no money for it sorry) and i enjoyed it so much thanks for reworking it mby this time i could even afford it for myself :D

i remember playing this game 10 years ago, and the only impression it left is it being a big pile of rip offs packaged as a full game lol

and today i looked real hard to try to remember this game name and finally found it after googling burnout clone games
You must have played a heavily modified version then. The game is not a rip-off and does not have a BMW M3.
I LOVE CRASHDAY!!! I'm in Scotland and last summer I picked up an original 2005 copy in a charity shop despite the admittedly cruddy screenshots, installed it onto my old Athlon XP and now I barely play anything else. By far my favourite game. No, the best game in existence. I would like to make a 12th Anniversary version called CRASHDAY [12]. Chances are it won't be going public though, just a private game between me, my girlfriend and my online friends with no annoying Russian nine-year-olds ruining the perfect game.
It will have more than 60 cars, a Night ambience, better graphics and a completely different storyline with original characters. All I need is an OK from you guys!

I just bought the game from steam summer sale and played it for 6 hours non-stop. Whatever I am battling with the incubator but every time I shoot a bullet or missile he runs to nearest health pick-up and it really annoying is there a way to disable them?
make sure you always take the health pickup so he can't. there's also a video on RUclips by Savo where he uses a stock Spectran to beat THE INCUBATOR. shows the strats in action.
Modding support? hell yeah! However, if this game supports ultra graphics, VR and 4K, I couldn't be more satisfied.

Can anybody hellp me? I managed to beat the Incubator and buy it for the 2 achievements,but I never get those achievements.They don't show up and are still considered to be "locked". Please help I want to unlock all of them.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems! Did you have any mods active when you finished the career?
Um yes I did install a mod to test and see how they work and did the final Incubator challenge with a mod active. Achievements do not work while a mod is being used?

Yep true , My childhood now Redline edition is for us , a lot of mods in steam workshop. Now i training to Crashday tournament for 15 years of crashday :)

This game is seriously underrated
I remember back in the day, I spent hors just to build those tracks and then share it online. Shame that the hdd got damaged. Anyway this game motivated me in many ways and this video came to me as a positive surprise. Great stuff, those old tech posts on crashdays early days, were the ones that actually got me so hooked in this game. The passion and motivation is so real with this game! May I steal a couple of ideas huh? >.< I mean afterall, it seems that you were the first ones efectively using the IBL workflow, that is beeing widely used now in various titles. You should write some sort of tech reviews maybe, or have I missed out something, let me know if so. Its always great to learn from the professionals.

I don't know why this game do not have the recognition that it deserves? For me it's not just nostalgic, I've replayed it recently and it has a great gameplay, not just a mundane race mode like in every other car game (They have their pros too). I think Crashday deserves more! Don't you think so? Let's revive this game.

Yeah the mods are going to make this game explode, i really like that fact that you just click one button and the mod is already installed in 2 seconds, the old crashday you have to replace, add files and stuff.
I can't wait to launch on Steam =D

How do i download mods to crashday from steam workshop?
You just click Subscribe on the Workshop and then you can enable/disable them in the game's launcher.
Awsooome and it would have been cool a splitscreen coop but i guess we cant have it all haha
with the peek of a player base of 10 per day u should think to make it free i think would been better

Don't worry there is an option to disable the pickups :)
for carreer mode too? and i get some heavy sound issues like sound is way too loud (effects) and somehow its like 3x faster and hight pitched (is music bounded to fps counter??) pls fix
