I think the greatest thing about Mahvel 3 is how well-balanced the characters are. Yeah, there are some sucky ones, but there are 20-30 viable characters and there's been a different winning team every year Mahvel 3 has been at Evo.

The opposite, Ray Ray is giving Kevin a chance to practice. Kevin has been playing a lot of SF6 and is very rusty so he needs the practice. It's why Kevin keep dropping everything and getting easily opened up. He is trying to win but that ring rust allowing Ray Ray to body him.

I feel like if Ray played a cheaper anchor (vergil, phoenix, etc.) he would undoubtedly win evo. He’s the best mag-doom player ever (yes, even better than fchamp)

I mean for whats it worth its he’s also by far the best sentinel to ever touch the sticks in this game. I’d love to see him win this year though, probably the most stacked marvel bracket of all time though

Maybe but you have to take into account that the majority of his mix ups and his zoning are done with drones. I am not sure if replacing Sentinel with Vergil would make him a monster. I don't believe many people play Mag, Doom, Vergil. Then again Ray Ray with Vergil would be a nightmare! In my opinion he is the most technical and cleanest UMVC3 player.
