  • What is living intelligent faith? Why don’t we trust God? In Randy Skeete's thought-provoking sermon delves into why faith is not blind. He begins by referencing the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus asked, "Would thou be made whole?" and emphasized the importance of rising, taking up one's bed, and walking as an act of faith.
    He highlights the need to trust God in various circumstances, drawing lessons from biblical stories and nature. He emphasizes the role of faith in the face of doubt, sin, and fear and the importance of relying on God's Word, not doubting His promises. His message inspires us to recall evidence of God's interventions in the past, emphasizing that we can trust Him implicitly in the future!

    I want to pull out something beautiful God does for man in a way that is just for man, but is not necessary for God.
    As pastor Randy speaks of Moses using the small branch to turn the bitter water sweet I couldnt help reflecting on that verse.
    God says, by beholding we become changed. He didn't need a branch to cleanse the water. God gave man a sign by having Moses show the Israelites an act instead of just saying the word. God was already aware the people would not believe without an act to lend proof the water was sweet. Such a lack of faith from the same group who had already witnessed miracles that would leave you and I trembling on the floor crying. Yet, these people needed more proof. Wow!
    God is good

    THANK YOU!!!!!! i always tell people, if you're going to say the 3 HEBREW BOYS then give me their hebrew name but not their babylonians name unless YOU say the 3 babylon boys. FINALLY find someone who thinks the same way

      I always refer to them by their Hebrew names, but if it were important then Daniel, under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wouldn't haven't written their Babylonian names again and again rather than their Hebrew names.

    • @ubercow21
      @ubercow21 3 месяца назад

      If that was the case Daniel would call himself Belteshazzar. Its not about important or not, its more so what WAS ans IS MORE important to the authors of each book. They are not infallible but rather are DRIVEN by the Holy Spirit to understand God's words and His plan for us. In heaven, we will be given a new body and a new name. By the way, Jacob name was still being used for a while Jacob even though his name was changed to Israel.

      @@ubercow21 read Daniel and it's very easy to see that Daniel consistently used their Babylonian names. Also, 2 Tim 3:16 says that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. The Spirit didn't simply inspire Daniel to understand scripture, He inspired Daniel to write it. He also ensured over time that the proper writings were included in the scriptures.

      @TrustinSimpson I think you fail to understand EVERYTHING that I wrote. And now you're arguing/debating just for the sake of arguing. May God bless you and grant you wisdom because I am not your entertainer if that's what you're looking for.

    Trump slogan MAGA MEANS...
    what does MAGA mean in latin?
    Copilot
    In Latin, “maga” has a couple of meanings:
    Witch: It refers to a person who practices magic or sorcery. The Latin word for witch is "venefica"123.
    Sorceress: Another translation for “maga” is "sorceress"1.
    So, in summary, “maga” in Latin is associated with magical practices and the mystical world. 🧙‍♀️
