Thank you Shawn. Please feel free to mail us if you want us to share some info or the drawings👍. It felt like quite a coup when the draw was able to hold 4 ammo boxes.
Now that is a question Tim has not asked or sought the answer to yet🤔. The car used to bottom out on the original shock set, but has never done so on the Oldman Emu suspensions and fit - nor has the car lost any clearance.
Hey Kirk, I don’t recall changing the size of tyre just adding the BFG KO2’s. Yes the spare was changed to be the same. Unfortunately I don’t have the Fortuner anymore I bought a Landcruiser Troopy now. You can see it on Instagram @troopyinafrica I now am trying out General Grabber X3’s made locally and much cheaper. @rolbos_overland_za on Instagram has a Fortuner and recommended them to me.
@@africaoverland Yes, you mentioned they were standard 17s. I was thinking maybe you had larger diameter tires (rubber) on the standard 17 rims. But thanks, anyway!
Nice 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. Been gone for a while. Tim now has a Landcruiser 78 Troopy @troopyinafrica 🤙
Love you guys would like to meet you in Namibia 🇳🇦
Thanks Jafet! With the fuel price the way it is we don’t have plans any time soon. Tim was up in Nambia in April testing his new Landcruiser Troopy.
That was a great rig Tim! I see you constructed your drawer system yourself. Any tips on the design or templates to follow? Thanks!
Yes certainly. Send us an email at africaoverlandinfo@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram
Great inspiration for my 'tuna!

@@africaoverland that'll be great! How is the center box for the camera gear mounted to the car? My mail address: shawn[.]t[@]zoho[.]com
Hey Shawn it is simply strapped into the bars of the rear seat.👍
Nice walk around! How are you doing weight wise when you’re fully loaded?

Beautiful car Tim. Let me know if you can ever get it in your heart to sell it one day!
Well interesting you should say that. Tim does have it up for sale👍. Tim has a new project he is hoping to start soon.
Hello sir. when you changed your spare tire, is that the same size of stock, like 265/65 r17? or is it larger?

That is a nice setup. What size are those tires?
Sorry missed your message. To be honest I can't remember, sold the car 4 months ago. They a 17inch BFG that I know. Did I not say in the video?

Awful noise aka ‘music’ makes this unwatchable
But there is no music after it starts?🤔
