Activision's shadowban problem is getting out of hand (Modern warefare 2 and warzone 2)

- Activision wrongfully bans users from reports. Many players who are legit and have never cheated are experiencing this. The design of the report system is unfair. A player will receive a ban and have their account reviewed if they have had numerous reports about them, even if they are not cheating. My account always has the shadow ban lifted before being immediately shadow banning me again after shooting someone.
UPDATE: After waiting for my account to not be under review i turned off all external applications such as logitech g hub and shadow replay. I also used the google dns server instead of my home one. I have not been banned after 10 kills and have been able to play again ruclips.net/video/jYNRPsvie1A/видео.html

I downloaded this game yesterday. HAVE NEVER PLAYED IT BEFORE. My friends have been bugging me to play. Keep in mind Im 36, grow up loving games but rarely have time to play anymore. Its raining and I'm on vacation from work, the only foreseeable time I will have to play, and I got banned in less than 24 hours. I'm honestly glad it happened b/c I was going to buy MW2 given its on sale right now. This made me think twice and reminds me why I don't have time for this shit.

Don't buy the full game there's even more disadvantages, bonus perks don't work on warzone if you own the full game

on my 5th shadowban now, i keep getting unbanned in under less than a day, but whenever i get 10 kills in wz i get instantly shadowbanned again.

My first shadowban lasted 2 hours, the second lasted 26 hours and I just got hit with a third no idea how long it'll last. All in a week.
Can vouch each time I had 10 kills, insta dc when shooting a potential 11th kill.
same except i’m on my second time in a week, first time was 10kills exactly and this time it was somewhere in between the 15-18 kill mark. ridiculous stuff. first one lasted 36-48 hours and this one happened last night and i’ve yet to check on it.
It's ridiculous. I got shadow banned in FIRING RANGE! Took 6 days to unban. Had to make a 2nd account after THEIR screwup (loadouts locked since Dec 2nd) and regrind everything. 2 days before season end I'm a few BP tokens short of the 100 because I get 2 lucky headshots in a row (clip posted on my account). I don't think they even review things -- I see TikTokers blatantly hacking yet they can't stop those?? Glad I didn't waste money on the actual game. Will continue not supporting Call of Duty/Activision, pre-shadowbans they almost had me 😄
I am currently on my fifth shadow ban since 22nd of this month. It happens only in Warzone for me _(The exact same thing as with you - 10 kills and them boom shadow ban),_ while multiplayer is fine. I don't know what to do anymore...
I paid 100 Euros for this game, have 450 hours already in it, grinded ORION before the season and they treat me like this? WTF Activision?!
The support finally reached me and told me basically that he can't do anything about it, this was his last reply:

The part that is the most disturbing is *_"It is not possible to contact the Security team."._* So if you get false shadow banned in a loop, or you get false permanently banned, you're screwed cuz the literal support of the game can't even handle such cases? Amazing job Activision, amazing job...

I am on the same boat. Got shadow banned for 21 days. Got unbanned. 3 days of gaming. Dropped 11 kills and shadow banned once again. Completely legit, no cheating, never cheated. First and only account. Active since Verdansk. They don't give a shit. We paid for this game, we need to be heard. What can we do?

i have been under review 5 times in last 2 months because of false reports that i believe is stacking cause no one is fixing it. I have been stuck in a loop of weekand a half under review stuck in lobbies with hackers then after they see im not cheating unshadowban me for 3 days just for someone to rage report me and im under review shadow banned for another week and a half over and over again 5 times. this is becoming fustrating as i cant enjoy the game and contact system dont work i just want help to get this fixed so i can enjoy cod without worying about someone rage reporting me and i get punished for being good by playing against hackers shooting through walls.

It’s based on play styles, 10-13 kills in a game w/ lots of reports will get you shadowed.
I recommend playing objectives like safe crackers & bounties… they algo compares your gameplay with known cheaters… cheaters don’t go for objectives, they kill only.
If you’re not on a white list then you’ll get shadowed for getting too many kills to fast + reports.
i went for the safes every game and i do get more kills then most because im a sweat but im still getting attacked by the anti cheat just like the guy in this video. Orion legit and over 5 days played
@@acefps reports are a big factor in this game. If you’ve ever been shadow banned before & you’re dropping 10+ kills and getting reports (nobody know the amount) you’ll get DC immediately when you shoot somebody.
Level seems to have nothing to do with it… semi cheating (trying to hide it) on an acc under level 50 I was able to consecutively drop 15 - 20 kills for many many many games… then one match I drilled a team through a smoke, got 3 spectators & was shadow banned on my next kill.
COD is in a state where everyone is paranoid that everyone else is cheating, so landing a nice flick shot or having good tracking on a kill will probably get you spectators- which leads to reports.
I cycle between cheats & legit… there been games where is just say “fuck it” and drill people through walls and win games with 20+ kills… then there’s games where I’m super low-key or not running a cheat and will get shadow banned lmao.
The goal is to avoid having people spectate you, because they generally report even if you’re legit, they do not know this… if you happen to kill a sweaty nerd that thinks he’s the best COD player ever he’ll automatically claim cheats…. This is the state of the game rn

Nobody knows what this system is, that some legit players and some cheaters are experiencing, I’ve had a buddy cheat obviously dropping 20+ kills per game for an entire week and get no bans..
Some are speculating it’s a failed internal anti cheat method deployed to the game before all the devs went on holiday vacations.
I’ve never played mw but, it looks like that suck’s. Waiting for that montage 😅❤

in wz2 i got shaddowbanned 3 times. first time it was 3-4 days ago after playing wz2 for 3rd week. It happened after a game(after which it was impossible/hard to find a lobby-if found it was half empty w other shaddowbanned peeps). 2 days ago and yesterday evening i got dced mid game and shaddowbanned instantly. And thats i guess just a start of it. Their anticheat system is garbage and should be adressed, but thes (probably intentionally) have garbage support team that even if you manage to get in contact with them cant do shit, just states the obvious stuff that happened and changes nothing in the long run.
I too have been shadow-banned 3 times for nothing, now I'm on my third in three days, you don't know when I'm going to be unbanned, but if it's to play 2-3 games then redo shadowban is useless.
For a game at 70 euros it's disgusting and activision is really incompetent

Today, a permanent ban was unfairly thrown. During the day, we entered ranked matches with my friends. Then we took a break. The game we took a break and at that time was open. My friend wouldn't enter when we tried that it included the invitation over and over again. I suddenly found it on my own desktop and saw the perm ban. When I log in to my e-mail address with my Activision account, it appears as unbanned, but I can't open a ticket, I couldn't understand why.

So, I got shadowbanned a couple of days ago and It's because of Warzone 2 itself, I have okay specs (Nvidia Geforce 1660 Super, Intel Core I5-10400F,
24GB RAM, 91.3mbps download and 10.07mbps upload) but every building looks like it was pulled out of a PS1 Game and when I manage to find the door to enter it, the entire interior is invisible so I don't know where I'm going. So, I assume people have been reporting me for wallhacking but I literally cannot control it.

I don't believe that killing 10+ players will shadow ban your account if you are not a cheater. Probably the anti-cheat system detected an apps, or 3rd party devices that can be attached on PC/Console.
