Tropical Storm Nestor leaves path of damage in Polk County

An EF-2 tornado ripped through Kathleen, Polk County. No injuries have been reported but the tornado caused significant structure damage to Kathleen Middle School and a nearby neighborhood.

I was in the middle of this stuck on the freeway. Truly terrified the shit out of me. Glad I got home okay and my house was okay. My prayers are with anyone who this tornado affected

My family lives about a half mile south of Kathleen Middle. Tree fell on horse barn pinning one of the horses in the debris.
