Edmonton must file a protest against the result of the match and demand its replay! The JUDGES DID NOT record a blatant violation of the rules! At the end of the 3rd period, Florida actually played with 25 of its players on the ice against five Edmonton players! This is lawlessness! After all, if Edmonton had played the first seconds of the match with such superiority of its players on the ice, it would have destroyed Florida!

I despise Nurse, Kane and Perry to my core but I have huge respect for Connor. As happy as I am tonight, it sucks watching this dude be crushed emotionally. We all know how hard he’s worked to get there, to get to the SCF again. It’s unfortunate that he’s got a team who can hardly support him on the ice and Skinner and Pickard. I can’t stand hearing other fans saying “so and so sucks.” Maybe their performance as goalies for a SCF contending team is not 100% but they by no means suck. To even be in the NHL alone is a testament. Anyways I’m off topic, it’s sad to see this man get crushed again. I hope he can go elsewhere and get the cup someday.

McNoRings isn’t winning a cup with this team unless they make some big changes.
Hockey is a team sport, two generational talents can’t win a cup alone (seriously, when Corey Perry is your 3rd best player you know you have some serious depth issues) Until Edmonton gets an ensemble like Florida has now, they are most likely not winning a Cup.

As a Panthers fan Mcdavid is class of the league.
He is fighting hard to get a cup. If he stays healthy he will get there.
Dallas put up absolutely no fight. They demolished the west. The East is much tougher to go through.
With that said. I cant say the same for some of the other Oilers players.
The league really wants Mcdavid to win.
However you cant teach the heart of a champion. The Panthers showed that is what their players have.
I think Mcdavid has it but he cannot do it on his own. You cannot baby someone to a Stanley Cup either as the announcers, fans, and other media literally tried to do.
Let this be a lesson to all the NHL and fans.
Congratulations to Brad Marchand and my Florida Panthers on back to back Stanley Cup Championship s!

That's not true at all, he was constantly changing the lines and pairings to see who's working well with each other. I'm assuming he overloaded drai and mcd on the same line the last few games to generate more offense which is what the oilers desperately needed, goals. Knobs has brought this team to the final 2 years in a row and most will agree the oilers have depth issues. He's working with what he has and doing an amazing job. It's clear the issue is not the coach, he's been with the oilers 2 seasons and brought them to the finals both years.
