Games like this really make me thankful that I have never had to experience any kind of combat. Like, imagine running for cover with these guys you have become good friends with, while under fire. You hear a round whizz overhead and think "THANK GOD THAT DIDN'T HIT ME" you make it to cover and turn around to catch your breath or something. Only to realise that your best friend is lying in the dirt without a head. Really hallowing to imagine.

Yeah it's pretty much the reason in World Wars you tend to not make friends in the military because any day you can lose them. If you don't get attatched to them and be somewhat distant it will get you through the war with your sanity. Making friends, will eventually eat a way at your mentality after watching so many die.
I was playing on FOY and was prone in a small crater with a teammate. We were pinned down by a tank that was shooting past us at other friendlies. The guy and I were talking in local voice and he started to crawl up to get a peak. I was watching him crawl as he talked and he was mid-sentence when all of a sudden his body exploded into pieces and the mic went silent. I'll never forget that moment.
When the whole squad got taken out with a shell it hits home

As a veteran HLL player addressing new or first time players. If you take the time to learn the game and are willing to communicate, be prepared for the most insane, heart pounding, arse clenching, satisfying & hilarious moments you've ever experienced in gaming. If played properly, HLL is one of the most rewarding games ever
Hey can you tell me how many kills he got after the first game plz. I can't work out which symbol means kills...is it the X of bullets or the circle of the scope sight? Either way it's in the hundreds! The game length is long though, but that's amazing!
@@hoightb Those symbols represent the type of points, the numbers are points. The X would be kills. The amount of points tells me a bit over 28 kills maybe? Someone else might know better. He would have to press "Personal stats" to see exact kills
@@hoightbthat screen doesn’t contain kill stats, those are hidden in another tab since the game discourages K/D obsession (you can rack up 0 kills and be the most important soldier in the match still)
@@hoightb It's points for overall combat. I'm not certainly sure how these work, but they're not just for kills, i would assume its also for supressing them and damaging them, maybe even for taking hits, i'm not sure

It’s been kinda rough recently with the game coming to Gamepass and a LOT of players not feeling comfortable in game chat yet, and I hope they come to love and appreciate how crazy the game gets

Match quality has def been down the last couple of days with the influx of new players. This is not a bad thing. Eventually these people will fizzle out or become enthralled and learn the game.
I've stayed up all night playing this the past 2 weeks. Easily some of the funnest time gaming I've had in a bit now. When you hit that perfect headshot,or you coordinate a great play with a good squad,its just so fun. Please play more Jack!🙏

the funny moments and just chaos is so much better in post scriptum/squad 44. Playing hell let loose is like playing a content dry version of squad 44.

The artillery in this game is just incredibly spot on. Never seen it done so well before

@onexlifeonly132 what would be lame is having arty going off without the ability to neutralize it. Much like what happens on the offensive game mode. You can't touch the defenders arty until you take the 3rd objective.

When you get a fully functional and communicating squad, there's no experience quite like it.
Almost wholesome in a way. Just a bunch of randoms all working to have a good time together.
Oddly promotes a 2nd hand form of role play at times too thanks to the classes an their specialisations. Spending a game as medic without someone shouting "MEDIC!" is rare to say the least.
Literally had a Band of Brothers moment where me and another medic were asking if the other had morphine syrettes as we were so bogged down in a hard push. Such a good game.
One of the best multiplayer games ever made. Find yourself a good squad and get to work! It takes brains and braun! A good squad can change the course of the entire game.
Don't try it on console. It feels very unfinished and just shotty

@@george5464 For example at 08:06, tracking the plane smoothly, then the entire following sequence where Jack takes the time to watch his teammates suppress the smoke like crazy. That's not random and Jack does it well, it makes the gameplay looks awesome.

For playing about a year now, the game can be both amazing and gruelling. I enjoy playing it, it is nice to see jack playing hopefully he continues ❤️
Playing it since 2019, i have a love/hate relationship with this game.
yup, lev 170 here, gotta say the wave of new players is killing this game. However I was able to find a lev100+ server, and that was pretty dam intense!! my AVG of 60 kills wasnt close lol, but we got the W!
As long as you get a squad that communicates and a commander that.. commands.. hell let loose is by far the best gaming experience available in my opinion
If you get a server where the squad officer just leaves the roll empty and no one talks or no commander, it turns into a running simulator pretty quickly
Been playing this since it came to Xbox Game Pass and been loving it, a steep learning curve but worth the time it takes

Aside from building garrisons, after almost 2 years playing this amazing game I feel like there are still alot of players (even veterans) that don't pay attention when they hear a plane passing by. It's crucial to know when that's a plane dropping Supplies or even an AirHead. I can't tell you how many times my team has been saved from a hard flanking because I heard a plane dropping an AirHead on our backs.
Absolutely. Looking out for things dropping shouldn’t only be the recon squad’s job, anyone in command chat should be vocal when they notice supplies, airhead, garrison locations etc. My favorite strategy is to place myself in the red zone while my team caps the point (away from the point) and call in for supplies close to the next point for a blitzing garrison. Satisfying to see it work
@@sesh3508 excelent strategy, gives you the opportunity to attack their point while they are preparing the counter. But in my opinion, even better than asking for the Supply drop, just asking two volunteers from your Squad to take the Support Role and drop the supplies. This way, the enemy can't see the drop and gives you more of a surprise advantage.
@@DanielPerez-ly4qe That’s the way I used to do it (the support way) before the game pass madness. Now half the other team doesn’t even know what supplies look like so it hasn’t failed me yet 🤣 had a 30 minute game of warfare the other day because of it
A few things to address from the video. Grenades do not damage any vehicles inthe game but will kill occupants in supply/transport trucks. Secondly with regards to recon teams only one recon team should work the perimeter of an advance and the other penetrate the enemies lines to remove garrisons and resource nodes and to disrupt enemy artillery.
I love this game. I always find myself coming back to it. There really isn't an experience like HLL.

They sound amazing now. A while ago they sounded totally different. The devs just updated some gun sounds and they are terrifying.

The explosion and particle effects look so good! The overall graphics aren't really cutting edge but the lighting and ambiance is killer. The snow map really reminded me of Band of brothers and the Bastogne episodes.. killer show btw you should watch

I LOVE hell let loose. I’d been really excited to get it for Christmas because I’d been watching a ton of videos on how to play and funny moments. Now that I have it, I can really say it is one of my favorite games. The only thing I don’t like about it is when nobody in the match it using a mic, but other than that, it’s perfect.

Alpine Sniper is my go-to HLL content. Man is the descendant of Chris Kyle. Very satisfying to watch peak gameplay at its best.
When you’re pinned down with bullets flying over your head with no idea where it’s coming from..it’s awesome. You have to take big risks in this game without knowing if you’ll make it out alive.
The gurgling sounds they make when they get shot are hilarious. Play more of this. Love this game.

The utter confusion when you are surrounded and pinned down by artillery and heavy fire is unmatched - sometimes I just sit there and stop playing because its so overwhelming!
Forget cod or battlefield this is the best multiplayer fps I’ve played. So good.

Played R6 for 7 years picked this game up on game pass. My pals have been playing for 2 yrs lvl 140 and up took me under their wings. I’ve learned so much but still know so little. I’m lvl 36 with 7 games as commander under my belt. 5 wins 2 losses. The losses were because of lack of nodes and knowledge. I’m so in love with this game it’s crazy.

The additional gamepass players are both a blessing and a curse. Commander my squad is neither listening or talking, I'll do my best, vut your the only voice I've heard all game 😂. Regular squad get's online, "Enemies east of point" "Well spotted" " Haven't seen them, just noticed a load of blueberries die" 😂
We were all blueberries once, just need to listen to more experience players and communicate.

If you are new to HLL, make sure you have a mic so that you can communicate with your squad. That doesn’t mean to flood the chat with your voice, but being able to talk to each other is a must for this game.

As recon, sniper and spotter should work independently but together. 2 sets of eyes at different areas of the map. Sniper can ping and relay what he sees and spotter can mark it and call it in to command. The spotter should also tell the sniper what other people are marking and calling in. Using recon like this, the enemy is marked and harassed from behind while arty can be controlled and garrisons and nodes can be taken out.
Played this for the first time today and my god it is INCREDIBLE! I don’t know if I’ll go back to COD and BF, also I love how the coms work it’s something I’ve always wanted in bf.
Man I miss when battlefield had suppression like this. Sad seeing Jack not playing it.
Loved hell let loose when the game turned out as intended, problem is, 90% of the game you get into, you're in a squad which doesn't have a leader, and the rest of the team don't have squad leaders either, so it becomes very frustrating. But when you do get in a game where you do have squad leaders, it's so much fun, but i gave up in the end lol.
I really used to enjoy jacks videos but now I can't even enjoy hell let loose on the Xbox cloud because he's brought even more attention to the game. Now I ALWAYS have a ridiculous wait time just to get into the main menu.
I hope all the new players brings a wave of new fans. I’m sure many will fall off, but as a long time FPS player, big BF fan and CoD player (early years), I felt slow and heavy at first, and the communication felt cringy..
That was short lived, probably after 2 games I was obsessed and now pretty much only play Officer and communicate non stop. Excellent game, hopefully with a bright future.
As recon id recommend harassing their artillery, really helps the team plus doesn’t hurt if you help command build garrisons.

I am a veteran he’ll let loose player on console it just went free for awhile on game pass my one word of advice is if you communicate you will really have a good time as well as getting to know new people and work with your squad better and also if you have questions you can ask you squad.

this game has brought me back to xbox 360 level fun. people actually talking and having a laugh, i was laughing so much the other day my stomach hurt lol pair that with a game that doesnt hold your hand, its a dream come true. i love sim games for there easy to play hard to master characteristics

Absolutely love HLL, I play on PS5 and when you find a squad who's talking and plays together its one of the best experiences in gaming, If you are new please use a mic and maybe do what i did when i started, watch some videos to learn the basics of the game. It helped me a lot when starting out.
The one game that made the PS5 worth it for me. Jackfrags goes great with this genre anyway, homerun content tbh
