Thank you for bringing this very good reminder to us. Just yesterday I related a story to a newish caregiver who's also new to Canada and has yet to really make any friends. This Sunday at church she had a half-hour conversation with a guy but it wasn't too long before she realized that he was all talk and full of nasty speech about others. I told her the story about my longest friend being courted, I suppose you could say, by a young man who was a friend up until he claimed Faith just to try to get a date with her. Thankfully there was nothing beyond deception that occurred but how could anybody fully trust that guy again after deceiving an entire friend group? My point to the caregiver, and it actually reminded me of another caregiver who had really bad friends in saskatoon, he also being a new Canadian, was that test people's behavior against God's word and listen to the Spirit if you want to find quality friends here in Saskatoon. Stopping often to make sure my motivations are correct frequently reminds me of my purpose and when I do that everything seems to go much smoother than when I am trying to push forward with my own selfish goals.
thank you God for yourwotd.😂❤
