I really need this one. Haven’t even gotten all of the 2019 figures that I wanted yet. Mattel has been killing me. 😂 That, and I’ve been having to spend more money than usual on my little dog. He’s very elderly, and is requiring a lot of attention.
I’ve had some hefty pet bills. The things we do because we love our pets. I remember a time when my wallet was a little heavier when I wasn’t collecting JW lol. Also collecting transformers doesn’t help.
The Deinonychus is my absolute favorite of Safari’s 2020 figures. I would love to see Safari make a Utahraptor or Dakotaraptor. They’re my absolute favorite dromaeosaurs.
Yep it’s my favorite Safari 2020 figure too. And yes we need some feathered lover for the larger dromaeosaurs!!!
A great figure, I just wish the eye was a bit more farther down the snout.
Did a quick photoshop where I overlay the head of scott Hartman skeletal. The eye does appear a little too far back.

We need really top of the line feathered Theropods figures and Safari's Deino is just that 😉 And I'm hoping to see a Few Feathered Eofauna dinos may be an accurate Yutyrannus 😉.
Eofauna's Theropod book is beyond superb I bought both Uk & USA Editions and the Sauropod edition well it is must for us all and you especially 😉 It will give us what future Eofauna Sauropod figure we will get.

Awesome review, I actually didn't know about the new view on the skull shape so thanks for that nugget. This definitely would make Deinonychus more of a velociraptorine dromaeosaur I guess? And thanks for showing off some more of your replica fossils too, I always dig that. I'm glad this was one of the few Safari 2020's I went ahead and picked up because I just splurged on the Newage "Lucifer" Starscream which looks absolutely amazing and the Iron Factory Tarn as well as their Runabout and Runamuck, should get them in early next week. In other words, may be a bit before I pick up any new dino figures, haha.
I’ve been eyeing that Newage screamer. They all look fantastic. If I got one obviously I would need Thundercracker and Skywarp. Think I’ll show off most of my casts for my one year anniversary vid. Can’t believe the channel will be a year old on Jan 23rd!!
@@DinoScreamReviews Yeah man, that's a great idea for an anniversary video! I have Legends scale Thundercracker and Skywarp in Iron Factory's rendition and they're great but no Starscream at that size so I went with him first...but I have a feeling I'll end up with the Newage versions eventually too, especially since they're straight G1 style (and awesome looking) and Iron Factory goes for IDW style (which I love too).
_Deinonychus_ would still be an Eudromaeosaur outside of Velociraptorinae. The head shape is just a superficial similarity, and even velociraptorines still have much narrower skulls that actually concave a bit at the nasal region.

I’ll eventually get to it. I try to review older figures when I don’t have much new stuff to review. It’s definitely on a short list of figures I want to review.
