I have both, as well as a DJI Pocket 2. I think you summed up the use case very well. The Go 2 is so handy to carry around but the X2 gives much more options. Thanks for a good review.
Great video, you have a nice easy to watch and listen to style, I was going to buy the go 2 to film my bike rides, but after seeing your filming comparision, i much prefer the 360 filming on the x cam especially with the invisible pole, well done🙂
I used to work in the retail camera industry (remember film? LOL). I would see a Nikonos V, destroyed, because of a hair, a few grains of sand, or not properly maintained (lubed) seals. Just like the lens, the seals on the X2 door have to be free of debris and clean. Pocket lint, anything like that would defeat the seal.
Exactly the breakdown I was looking for as I am trying to decide between these two cameras. Also...your hair is amazing! Great bleach job and just awesome! Bravo! :)
Great vid thanks. I’m getting closer to making a decision now. Lol I really hope people appreciate how spoiled for choice we are these days. None of this was possible even just a few years back.
Sorry but I'm confused. Hard to compare as one is 360 and the other isn't. 05:10 the 'BUS LANE' markings, the white taxi, buildings in the back are much clearer and crisper on the GO 2 05:25 the GO 2 image is much more stable compared to the slightly shaking/trembling One X2 05:29 I can read the 250 yards on the sign only on the GO 2 So I'm not sure why you've said he opposite. It could easily be that I misunderstood you entirely.
Seems like just about all "influencers" miss the fact that you can reframe in Pro Mode on the Go 2 from the circle image up/down, left/right in the phone or iPad app (in the desktop app only up/down.). Hold your finger on the screen then it becomes movable and you can mark it on the video. It isn't 360 reframing, but it can be useful if your framing is a little off. If you try to move too far, then you get artifacts from the edge of the circle image.
P.S. I have two One X2s and a GO 2. They compliment each other perfectly. My GoPro and mirrorless cameras gather dust while these cameras and my Pixel phone getting used every day.
Thanks for the vid. The go 2 issue is the heat in any of the cases. In the charging case you cannot get past 20 minutes to utilize the extra time to shoot while it’s charging, and then auto shuts down.
I loved the way you explained the difference between usage of these two products. I think OneX2 will suit my requirement. 2:46 are you still living in MCH ?
Try to see this test on large TV set. Then they are huge!!! quality different (go2 are much much shaper). Really easy to see... But on phone or normal monitor not... Im waiting for next models are out. Got DJI action on the moment, only missing the horizon lock...
I am a beginner, and will be travelling to the Phillipines, Laos, and Myanmar this summer. I am planning on a making a short 3 minute cinematic film in each country. Because filming is somewhat sketchy in Myanmar, I am looking for a more secretive camera. With that being said, I would really like the camera to record audio as well. What do you recommend?
I’ve been wanting a 360 camera for ages.. it looks like the time is about right. X2 looks pretty cool. It seems to handle Motion quite well. Thanks for the video I found this very helpful . And look forward the next upload. Just subbed thanks again 👍🏽😉
I just got my GO2 today and I started to record Pro Video, with the magnet on me, I took a walk around my home and after 4 minuts It got soooo hot, and turned off automatically, what should I do?, please help
I seen a comparison video that you did between the One R, the One X and the One X2. Some time has passed since then. All of the comparison videos that I have seen, including yours, I personally think the One X2 picture looks much better in regards to color quality, better detail, and crisper. But yet some still say it's not worth the upgrade. The few 360 videos that I have done with my One X always look dull. Like there is a gray haze over the picture. Not very vibrant. The sky always looks void of much detail. I'm very much considering upgrading. I live in Missouri so vibrant color during the Winter is a must, or the footage seems depressing. What do you think? Do you think its worth upgrading from the One X to the One X2?
It's worth upgrading but the difference in lens technology isn't massive. To get great looking footage you need to manually adjust the settings to best suite the envirnment. Then after that apply some editing in the app to make the image more colorful/vibrant
Hi I have a go 2 and happy with it, I did a trip with approx 100 short clips but when editing I found the app only let me edit 30 clips, what next do I then edit the next 30 and will it all join up? I am new to this and can be a little dim at times. Any advice?

what if mount the 360 one x2 horizontal will it produce the same frame as vertical.Actually m a paraglider the air residence is more in vertical when its over the helmet. Kindly suggest

why does everyone say go2 overheats and is not really usable? is this true. I have ordered one and waiting to test it.
How does the GO2 compare it with the DJI P2? wud love ur opinion.
colours look way better on the go 2 and in many scenes the low light seems to be way better
yea the go2 looks good in low light, the x2 looks really noisy especially at 3:20
Nice video! Wanted to let you know that your videos helped me massively and last week I finally bought myself a One X2!

I can only afford one and will use it just for general vacation and bike videos. which do you suggest?
@@Heeyitsmika The One x2 is the best. My Go 2 doesn't replace it. My Go 2 replaces my GoPro. 360 framing makes action videos much better.

Amazing, awesome comparison and very helpful, thanks! Loving your cool video of our beautiful city!
Thanks , again , interesting .I have my camera acquisition on hold , waiting for the Boxing Day sales & new stock/models. Love the 360 concept & VR.
I bought both- each has its own purpose, pros and cons
Which use do you give them?
Nice review 👍😎 watching and learning about this cameras
I wanted this comparison! Thanks. Go 2 is phenomenal! Cool hair!
thanks! very detailed explanation, as a cyclist, i wonder which one did they prefer for both road and off road? both has positives .. so many choices
super helpful really, thank you!

If the magnetic pendant was to work for the other small cameras that would be great!

Thanks for the comparison! quick question for the Go2.....how close to an object will it focus correctly? eg can you film small insects from close by?
I don't think it fill focus on such a small object

which is better in low light
How about an audio comparison?
I like to have a 360 effect, so I guess the One X2 is the one.
Brilliant video
can i power the cheaper on with a USB bank?
GO 2 look better and i prefer its smaller form factor the only thing it needs is longer battery life.
You living in metro central heights mate?
how much memory consumes for 2 min 360 video on insta onex2?
Any news about One X3 ?
At least you dont need to bring a softbox for either camera with hair that white.
You will need both and you will be set
Go 2 64 GB, waiting for the X3 haha
Sorry if you go over this in the video and I missed it but what's the maximum SD card size can it accept? Could I put a 400gb+ SD card in there?
I was waiting for this comparison for so long. Very good my friend!
Luckily I didn't buy the One X2, image quality is a dealbreaker for me
The go2 is much better quality wise
Go2 looks noticeably more crisp.
So the go 2 is not 360?
2:23 black letters, like a pro...
There's no point comparing two so different cameras. This video proves the point.
please please please stop saying "HAYtch 265".... it's "AYtch" 264
ill do what I want hun
