Note on SSDs. 1) not as great for longer term storage than spinning drives. 2) AVOID Western Digital! I had TWO SSDs fail within 3 months of purchase and they didn't offer any recovery or refund. Just replacing the drive. That is NOT reliable as a product or company.
A great idea on the backup drives is using a tower style PC and add extra SSDs or HDDs to it and it's easy after importing to make multiple copies of photos. I know there are RAID systems etc, but this is a simple and cheap way to do it. Tip #2, don't keep everything on a laptop, they are basically disposable, and if you edit around coffee (who doesn't), then they are at risk of getting damaged. I know this from experience losing all of my portfolfio I had as a new photographer before using online galleries for storage when my new baby knocked my coffee off the end table right into all the USB ports of my computer.

These are great but I think you missed one of the most important components of going pro is to know your CODB and how to figure that out. How you shouldn’t be just choosing pricing based on what someone else is charging.
