- We get in the way back machine and look at another project from the past this week. This time I share a lovely Matka silk top and georgette skirt. Both are lined. I also share some of my early experiences with some of my sewing mentors.

So much fun to hear about past projects and sewing experiences🪡 Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! I am having fun going down memory lane. It makes me want to sew another set for todays fit.
Thank you for such a simple yet informative video!
Thank you for tuning in! 🧵
Beautiful outfit n it fit you so well... those styles are by favorite...
Thank you so much 😊
Hi Stacy,
That is a beautiful outfit! Love those colors!
Cathy
Thank you so much!
Very cute outfit and love the shoes! I also loved the pics of you! Such a long history with sewing you have. That is very cool! I didn't start sewing until I was 38. I also have slowly dropped several sizes. Its just over 40 lbs now so definitely have had to change the wardrobe. At first I didn't need to buy much but by 40 lbs, that means pretty much nothing fits the same except my socks and shoes. 😂 Although even a few pairs of shoes are too big now. I did end up buying some clothes because I couldn't sew fast enough when the warm weather hit to replace my wardrobe. I have so much fabric that I hate to buy a lot of clothes but I will still probably be sewing warm weather clothes all summer because there is still so much I want to make. Too much fabric and too little time!!!😂😅 If I could lock myself in my sewing room for a whole week, I could maybe put a dent in my wardrobe but that is unlikely.
Renee, Thank you! I am trying to sew up my stash but I keep finding new fabric too! It is such a problem. It is good to hear others who have also done the slow slide to another size.😅 It is fun to sew something new. Sew on, sew on! 🧵
I would not wear it, but I look pretty weird in a dress. And don't get me started on trying to wear heels, so the shoes are completely out. That outfit is incredibly nice work. Fun stories. I love "story time with Stacy." I am looking forward to the darts video. I totally agree with everybody learning how to sew at least a little.
😂😂 I appreciate you know your style and comfort zone! Darts for everyone coming up.
You go girl!!!
Thanks! 💕
Great video! Love the outfit Stacy and your new shoes!
Stacy, found your channel today. I subscribed. I enjoyed the video.
Thank you, Vanessa! 💕
I love your new shoes on you, but I have disagreeable Bunions, and wide feet. Great video, of a blast from the past.
Aribella, I have to be careful with shoes too. Mostly because of back issues. Thank you for watching! 💕
I love the neckline of the top. ❤ Are you intermittent fasting? Your face and neck area look thinner. Lord knows I have fit issues. I am a big rectangle. I made my self drafted skirt and it ended up to big because I am starting to fast intermittently.
I fixed it and it looks and feels beautiful. Who knows what it's gonna fit like in 2 months from now.
I have a loved one who is a certified fitness and nutrition trainer. Just a few little tweaks has really helped me. Already healthy now getting stronger and wiser. 💪
Thank you for noticing! 💕
I can hear music playing but I can't hear your voice.
I think she wants us to practice our lip reading skills. Alas, mine are really bad.
Yes I had a major glitch. I hope it is finally worked out.
