    Lovely photos....... My father took some of these photos! He was born in Balickmoyler in 1922 and is still snapping !!

    be the holy god o war some great pics and great memories. I recognised my uncle Billy Connolly in a picture of the working mans club in 1936. Great stuff

    Hurely's was on Dublin street, just down from the old Carlow library, it was called Peggy's and then Hurley's. I believe a hotel now is there in its place.
    I had my very first pint in Peggy's. :)

    can anyone tell me where hurley's pub used to be? it was a nice place.
