Berluti - Make it yours: Patina

Olga Berluti took inspiration from the moon’s influence on the depigmentation of leather to invent her patina in the 80’s, and the look has since become a distinctive signature of the Maison. The Berluti artisan starts using Venezia leather, a fine, supple full grain leather taken from the very best skins and processed using Berluti’s own methods. Then, among natural pigments, brushes, sponges, cloths and creams, through a dyeing, painting and glazing process, a unique patina emerges. It adds not only colour, but also depth, relief, character and uniqueness to each piece.
