I think Stephanie has done more to the art of printed decorating books than anyone has every influenced the printing companies! I have bought two of the most beautiful decorating Provence style books because every time I watch her and her love for books, it made it seem ok to go back to what I love, REAL books! Now I need more!
I ABSOLUTELY love the pink theme!❤ I was all set to replicate the theme but my grandson who lives with us stated that it was just too girly for the main house but that i was welcome to have my own such girly tree if i wanted too. He's nine.😂

I like pink, but I am not obsessed with it generally. But I SO LOVE it in that room with that wall paper. The tree and custom toile wrapping papers are gorgeous in there. That color brings life to the room! Just beautiful! 💖🌸💞

Stephanie, the pink reproduction papers of Andie’s drawings and your father’s painting are absolutely beautiful, but by adding the baubles and bells, the gifts look exquisite! 🖼💖🎁🎀 I simply love gift wrapping and even admire the boxes and wrappings as much as the gift inside. I must admit when watching some of the Chateau Unwrapped episodes I’m saying, ‘oh keep that paper/ribbon/box’ because they are so beautiful. 😅🎄❤️

It was hard to believe that those books contained real words as everything was unbelievably intricate and a true masterpiece in every way. I wasn't originally sold on the big prints, but seeing them on the packages, they work so well, the way you can focus and pick certain scenes is marvelous.

Dear Stephanie, thank you sharing the delightful book about the Queen’s Doll House. I immediately ordered it for a friend in the UK who is an art restorer and miniaturist who creates the most exquisite tiny rooms, books, scrolls etc. And of course another one for me because I’ve owned the book about it for many years. I love the books you wrapped, and the way you wrapped them. And I especially liked the pinecones on the one with the Chapel, because there are pine trees behind it. Everyone did a fantastic job.
When you curled the ribbon it brought me right back to when my Nanny and Mom used to do just that! A present wasn't finished without that!!! (Nanny was the gloves and hat type). The memory was almost as visceral as a smell memory. As you said "old-fashioned" but so, so sweet!!!

Pink is such a lovely colour for Christmas this year! Stephanie, if you wanted to carry on the pink theme to the 'drinks department' (or cocktail corner), why not try strawberry champagne? Just add 2 bottles champagne to 1 bottle soda water and add several punnets of pureed strawberries in a large glass bowl. Then, sweeten to taste with powdered sugar and add strawberry halves on top to float!!

Love Xmas giftwrapping and can’t understand people who have the department stores do it all for them, it’s such a lovely ritual 💝 I cannot do it without two things though: one is MUSIC, and with that I definately do not mean Wham’s ”last christmas” 😂 The other is SEALING WAX, a christmas must for me. At this point I have left over canes of everything from bronze, deep blue , tangerine, burgundy and yes: pink, and a bunch of others. I lke esoecially to do marbled seals with gold and any color and have simple metal stamps with various reliefs. It’s that smell of sealing wax that makes me giddy with christmas memories from childhood, and even just plain brown parcel paper and string red wax sealed instead of tape is so cute and old-school christmassy I love it. Those years I’ve had very little to spend on gifts I’ve especially made a point of pretty wrapping, it does convey so much of the personal sentiment i think. The pink against the greys of the salon is just gorgeous and the color of that NOT so purple ribbon is fuchsia! 😘😂💫
I also prefer the bigger one! I think a size in-between might be nice. I find the smaller Lalande toile to be a bit too small and does not draw the eye as much as the larger print. This has really inspired me. Maybe next year, I'll design a wrapping paper for the gifts I'll be giving away next year. It's too late to get things printed now. I like the advent calendars so far. I appreciate the gift ideas I'm getting.
I just have to say - I absolutely love 💞 the pinks of the wrappings against that beautiful green 🌲Christmas tree! (…and that’s coming from a lover of all things blue and purple - like that of the ‘ peacock tree corner ‘) ……….Possible idea: perhaps a crafty/ creative person out there will download the prints and create a beautiful colouring book and/or other stationery pleasures! ? !
