- So, as you might be able to tell, I played sonic frontiers last month and absolutely adored it! Didn't take me too long to wanna make a RWBY amv from some of the soundtrack, but dang was this hard to make. It's just so fast paced! was definitely an interesting challenge. It certainly helped though that the volume 9 trailer came out, it gave me the last push to finish this! I think this is my favorite AMV I've made so far, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! See you all when volume 9 drops!

Regardless of how the story's gone, RWBY battles are always a treat for the eyes. So fast-paced and aerodynamic. They never feel stale or stilted. And that's the one thing I love about the series. When a battle really kicks off it gets you pumped.

God, EVERYONE'S uploading rn, I gotta hurry up 😅 You're right, this type of song (feat. metal's drumbeats and guitar riffs) is super hard to pull off, which is why it's all the more impressive you were able to execute it so perfectly! Imo it's all in how you appropriately placed moments with less motion like 1:04, 3:00 etc so they still match the energy of the rest of the song. Stellar work!
Amazing, I'd love to see another one of this with Giganto's theme.
I actually was considering making one of these with Undefeatable (the song that plays during the Giganto fight), so potentially keep an eye out for that!

I loved how when the sons said flame or fire it was yang. And when it said dance with destiny it was raven vs cinder cuz it really was a battle of what remnants destiny would become. Hurricane I was amber using her burst of air. Utter perfection

the bands name is One Ok Rock, and I believe they did a lot of the music for sonic frontiers!
It's made by Kellin Quinn (from Sleeping with sirens) and Tyler smith, it's from the game "Sonic Frontiers"

Don't like how the characters don't think of Auras and Semblences as "magic"? Not the first to do that. Ki from DBZ is very much a magic system, and yet they treat it as something different from magic. There's also Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere. In The Lost Metal, Marisi and Moonlight have a debate over whether or not Allomancy is "magic". To Marisi, Allomancy is Allomancy, and "magic" is whatever the hell Moonlight does. Moonlight argues the exact opposite. To her, Soul Forgery is natural, while Allomancy is "magic". In White Sand, when Kriss tells Kenton, a Sand Master, that she's looking for "sand mages", he doesn't know what she's talking about. Because to her, Sand Mastery is magic, but to him, it's just Sand Mastery. It's like the argument of "what is magic, and what is science". Easiest answer is "science is the shit we understand, magic is the shit we don't".
I remember what Mei Ling said to Snake in Brawl that Science is just another form of magic.
The fandom is similar to Sonic's in some ways...
Semblences means semblance of magic. The people of this world vaguely though fairytales know of magic more powerful and way more uses than what they have. As the fairytales of this world seam to be mostly true this is correct there used to be magic users and there are four users left as well.
@Milferd Jones This explanation, specifically "semblance means semblance of magic," makes it seem like they're saying that what they do resembles magic, but they don't consider it the same thing. Which, unless I missed something, would fit what I said. It's magic to us, but to them, it's no more mystical than electronic devices.

These are from a webseries called RWBY! It's probably one of my personal favorite series of all time, you can find the first 4 volumes on youtube, while volumes 5-8 are available on the rooster teeth website or crunchyroll, and the current volume, volume 9, is currently only on crunchyroll
