- Just playing around in FL Studio again. A remastered version of the extremely epic Chaos Angel Act 1 from Sonic Advance 3 on the Game Boy Advance.

Chaos Angel Act 1 is a theme that for more remixes/remasters can have, no one can beat the original of game boy advance... But you, you broke this rule with your remastered... I wanna hear the act 2 with your style, ¡please!

Sonic Mania is a classic sonic game. It only has returning stages from the early days of the Sonic series.
Just today I ended up watching this video EXACTLY when i came up with the idea to make a remastered version with this song in FL studio myself. Fml
Excellent job though. However, I would adjust the balance of your patterns, so the background doesn't swallow the melody. And that's the only thing I noticed that could be adjusted. :/
MrEggSaladSanvitch I would encourage you to still do your version. Everyone is different you may hear of feel certain parts that this person may not have felt (if im making sense). Bottom line is- do yours. It may be uniquely different even if it's a slight difference
@mikeblastdude Thanks for doing this! You brought back loads of nostalgia! haha,I remember like it was yesterday. I woke up one fateful Christmas morning at the age of six to find the one thing I just HAD to have. An electric blue Game Boy Advance SP. It had Sonic Advance 2 with it and Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 with it and some other games. I loved SADV2 so much I begged and begged for the sequel when I saw it on the back of the manual. I got my wish that next Christmas! :D
oh god. This is awesome. I loved the Chaos Angel theme as it was, but this just perfected it. If this "Sonic Dimensions" is going to remake more levels, then i hope they will remake Chaos Angel (even if the chance of that happening is pretty slim).

Certainly a lot more closer to the original than what I did. You actually kept in the Organ whereas I went with a piano and ah-choir for the more sedate part :B You needed a better ending though if I have to be honest, though I guess it's just the direct MIDI end?

@teckwerks Thanks man! I used quite a bit of soundfonts for this actually, hard to remember exactly which ones. I've kind of been hoarding soundfonts on my computer for years now. XD They've all come from various sources on the internet.

It'd be funny if after you beat the stage and score calculation is done, the words "Those chills will disappear in a moment" came up.
Nice! Hopefully someone will reskin Sky Sanctuary in Sonic Gens to look like Chaos Angel, and hack this music into the game. That would be amazing.

since I never really liked the Sonic Rush games much, but Blaze would definitely be the rival fight for that era though, while the boss for the Rush era would be Egg Emperor v7, the final boss for Sonic Rush (Not Super Sonic and Burning Blaze's final boss fight). And lastly, the dreaded Time Eater.

was there a very similar but not quite this remix of this song? I could have sworn there was one very similar to this but the layering/audio balance is a tad different and it has a simple 8-bit sample instead of the violin flutter background thing?

I understand that this was years ago, but pretty sure that did answer his question. This was a remix of an existing remaster, and both sound very similar. I was simply pointing out that he may have heard the remaster done by Teck and was thinking of that.

Gotta say, not bad. Feel like it should be rougher, maybe with some sharper synths or a heavier beat, but this version definitely has some charm.

I never found a single flaw in the whole game as a kid, and beat it.
