As a bodyshop owner of 6 years, I didn’t get one repair job from advertising, marketing companies, online, billboards, sponsoring softball teams, etc….(that I’m aware of to be honest). But I spent a lot of marketing money and got no noticeable return. The only way I got business was through doing good work, on time, at the agreed price and by word of mouth. It took years to get enough business to keep the doors open and pay the bills. Had to build up enough clientele like Ted has over the years. Evidently, for certain businesses, online advertising works for them.
Always great to hear insightful advice and stories from business owners. Thank you for your personal story!

Ted wouldn’t buy a car before on another episode that had white interior. Said it gets dirty too easy. This episode he bought a car with a white interior, as a personal “Ted car”. Why does he change his mind between episodes? Doesn’t make sense🤷♂️

Cj7 for 1000 bucks... even in NY, not running and being rusted out, they get more than 1000 dollars. The guy is crazy. Why I never come across deals like this? He wanted 10,000 and gives it away for 1,000.
I PITY ANYONE THAT STUMBLES INTO TEDS PARKING LOT. WHEN HE GETS DONE WITH THEM THEY CAN'T SIT DOWN FOR A WEEK.
