I think anytime NK has a MASSIVE update planned and need to buy some time, they release something like this. It happened with the last new game they released.
If I had a Nickel for each time a tower defense game made a card game with heroes, I'd have two Nickel. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
This plays differant than PVZ Heroes cause bloons die when they do damage. This completely change the dynsmic. You invest in defence, but the offence is all consumable.

If they get the paid cosmetics done well, the future of this game looks great, so many card ideas from existing towers and heroes and other bloons games things

For sleeves specifically I said paid because they said they are currently not thinking about it and that is probably the only reason they would-especially because they said they do not want the dual sided cards like in btdb card battles
@@deathdrop the battles 2 battle pass is cosmetic monetization. Hero skins are vaguely that with some gameplay bonuses. Besides a one time purchase to get every card for a set/new season I think monitozation over time kind of has to be cosmetic or very fair for obtaining cards/heroes.
I watched this for Chris, but I’ll be honest never been a big fan of card based computer games. Don’t think this game will change that. But I know showing new things can be an unknown factor so I watched it for SJB
I had my reservations that this would be just another soulless cash grab but this looks genuinely fun so far. There were ways to play SJB's deck other than what he did. I wanna see what more content will be added to the game.
Control might be pretty strong. Banana farms could get you up to an early red bloon storm + embiggen combo. I really can't wait to see what people come up with for this game.
From just this snippet of gameplay I feel like agro decks are very strong and sending bloons over defending is the way to go with aoe board wipes also being very strong as a result, I also think quincy is stronger because oh his direct damage faring better against agro

ISAB had the same username issue where the second letter couldn't be capitalized, that's a very strange bug Also I feel like the tutorials need some work, or there needs to be another one, particularly because of the "storm" that happens. the game doesn't seem to explain that whatsoever

I hate soft lawnches like that. I can never get to test them. And by the time they release to the général public, the balance of the game strategy is broken by the newly introduced pay to win elements. Those soft lawnch are always better than the full game by not having microtransactions in it.
I have no interest in playing or watching this game, it looks really boring. But I'll drop SJB a like and this comment. I do hope this game succeeds for NK though
